Requirements<\/p>\n
\tRelevant 3-year tertiary qualification in IT and relevant certificates
\n\tA minimum of 5 years relevant IT support experience
\n\tExperience supporting multiple users
\n\tRelevant experience and knowledge with WAN and LAN networks
\n\tActive Directory. SQL Server and general database administration experience
\n\tNET programming experience
\n\tRelevant expertise when it comes to hosted server platforms and virtualised environments<\/p>\n
Areas of responsibility include:<\/p>\n
\tNetwork and Server Infrastructure, Technical Support, Infrastructure Maintenance, IT Projects, Coordination of Outsource IT Services, and General Administration.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tManage outsourced service providers to maintain infrastructure health
\n\tAdminister Microsoft SharePoint environment
\n\tUser identity administration
\n\tResponsible for periodic file cleanups on servers
\n\tAssist with Disaster Recovery planning and testing
\n\tGeneral database administration
\n\tSoftware license management
\n\tSet and manages user expectations
\n\tProvide staff training for the purposes of creating awareness around security and IT policies
\n\tManage outsourced IT service provider with regards to timeous desktop support
\n\tGeneral line of business application support
\n\tMonitor that outsourced IT vendor\u2019s work is completed according to set standards and procedures as set out by IT Manager
\n\tEnsure backup procedures are followed daily by outsourced IT vendor
\n\tMonitor that outsourced printing services provider\u2019s work is completed according to agreed timeframes<\/p>\n
