Our client is seeking a detail\u2011oriented and highly organised Accounts Assistant with strong Pastel Accounting experience to join their team.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tCapture and process daily financial transactions on Pastel Accounting
\n\tPerform bank, creditors, and debtors\u2019 reconciliations
\n\tPrepare and post monthly journals and adjustments
\n\tMaintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records
\n\tPrepare accounts up to trial balance
\n\tAssist with month-end and year-end processes
\n\tManage supplier queries and assist with payment runs
\n\tProvide general support to the Finance team with ad hoc tasks<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tPrevious experience in a similar accounts\/bookkeeping role
\n\tGood working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, reconciliations)
\n\tProven experience working on Pastel Accounting (Essential)
\n\tSolid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
\n\tStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
\n\tAbility to work independently and meet deadlines
\n\tStrong communication and organisational skills<\/p>\n
