Main purpose of position<\/p>\n
\tCurrently we are looking for an Asset Analyst in Cape Town, South Africa to be part of our global team working together towards our vision \u2013 Improving our future.
\n\tAs our Asset Analyst you will support the financial and operational performance of renewable energy assets through financial modelling, performance analysis and engagement with key stakeholders including lenders, finance and operations teams.<\/p>\n
Main responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and maintain financial models to track asset performance, forecasts and scenario analysis
\n\tAnalyse financial and operational data to provide insights and recommendations to Asset Management
\n\tSupport budgeting, forecasting and financial control processes across assets
\n\tManage lender reporting requirements and monitor compliance with debt covenants
\n\tMonitor project-level P&L, cash flow and performance against budget
\n\tSupport administration and compliance of project financing agreements and contracts
\n\tCoordinate with internal and external stakeholders including Finance, Legal, O&M teams and lenders
\n\tDrive improvements in reporting, data analysis and performance tracking tools<\/p>\n
Qualifications and competencies<\/p>\n
\t3\u20135 years\u2019 experience in Project Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Modelling, Transaction Advisory, Investment Banking or Corporate Finance
\n\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Science, Mathematics or equivalent
\n\tStrong financial modelling and analytical skills
\n\tExperience working with financial models, cashflow analysis and large datasets
\n\tProficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools (e.g. PowerBI)
\n\tExperience in renewable energy or infrastructure projects is advantageous
\n\tProfessional qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, CFA or equivalent is beneficial
\n\tFluent in English, spoken and written
\n\tYou are used to changing environments and able to quickly meet new challenges<\/p>\n
