This individual will be required to develop strategies, examine growth opportunities, and enable sales improvement, and taking responsibility for the department\u2019s performance against set targets.<\/p>\n<p>Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to:<\/p>\n<p>\tLead and manage Funeral sales teams consisting of Sales Managers and financial advisors in order to achieve sales and quality targets.<br \/>\n\tResponsible for management and oversight of the FSPs activities relating to rendering of financial services, which includes advice and\/or intermediary services.<br \/>\n\tMust monitor that the statutory obligation of the FSP is complied with.<br \/>\n\tEnsuring a professional level of interactions with intermediaries and HR contacts.<br \/>\n\tInductions and leads management, ensuring that campaigns and leads are correctly managed<br \/>\n\tOngoing liaison and relationship building with various stakeholders.<br \/>\n\tAnalyze Management Information System Reporting, create and maintain well crated reports to identify opportunities and gaps<br \/>\n\tUphold Business processes and identify operational improvements<br \/>\n\tAbility to proactively manage change.<br \/>\n\tCompliance and risk management and adherence, coach staff to improve performance and behaviours. Specifically complying with the fit and proper requirements (COB, RE, Qualification, PST and CPD).<br \/>\n\tFoster an Energetic and Motivated Work Environment<br \/>\n\tRepresentatives and Sales Managers complete all required training for their role.<br \/>\n\tMonitor on an ongoing basis that the representatives are treating customers fairly.<br \/>\n\tMonitor representatives under supervision to maintain the required standard.<\/p>\n<p>Competencies<\/p>\n<p>\tAbility to engage Union representatives.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tLogical, analytical problem-solving ability.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tExcellent interpersonal skills.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tAble to take initiative and exercise sound judgment and decision making.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tAbility to work in a highly pressurized, target oriented environment.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tAbility to deal positively with change and uncertainty.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tStrong business acumen.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tStrong sales and persuasive skills.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tStrong quality orientation.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tGood organisational skills.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tProactive, self-motivated.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tAble to identify, nurture and develop talent.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tCustomer oriented.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tAbility to meet deadlines timeously\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and Skills<\/p>\n<p>\tRelevant Tertiary Education required. Degree\/Diploma. (BCom or Marketing)\u00a0<br \/>\n\t4-6 years sales management experience in a target driven sales environment.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tCompetent in MS office<br \/>\n\tExperience managing teams country wide.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tNQF Level 5 and Regulatory Exams compulsory.
