Contribute to the delivery of best-practice, innovative brand marketing and communication strategies within SABC Sport, ensuring the platform is effectively promoted and positioned to achieve its strategic objectives.<\/p>\n<p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n<p>DEVELOPMENT OF STRATEGY AND BUSINESS PLANS<\/p>\n<p>\tOversee the development, implementation and evaluation of the SABC Sport brand and PR strategy in line with the network strategy.<\/p>\n<p>BUSINESS OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY AND COST MANAGEMENT<\/p>\n<p>\tIn consultation with the SABC Sport platform, lead the development, execution and evaluation of a range of national platform campaigns.<br \/>\n\tDevelop an influencer management plan for the specific SABC Sport platform being overseen.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and implement strategic communication and marketing strategies (both internal and external) for key SABC Sport projects and initiatives.<br \/>\n\tLead the development, management and evaluation of an influencer\/ ambassador program<br \/>\n\tManage the application of the brand across corporate partners<br \/>\n\tOversee the production and distribution of marketing and communications collateral for the SABC Sport platforms<br \/>\n\t\u00a0Provide strategic advice and recommendations to the Executive on marketing and PR strategies.<br \/>\n\tBuild key relations with the media, bloggers and social influencers<br \/>\n\tWrite regular media pieces promoting the SABC Sport programmes, profiling key celebrities and highlighting ground-breaking initiatives<br \/>\n\tEstablish initiatives, policies and procedures that deliver ongoing improvements in service delivery<br \/>\n\tWriting, editing and proof reading of all content for internal and external publications including in house magazines, newsletters and press releases<br \/>\n\tProvide advice to senior management and leadership on SABC Sport specific brand and PR.<br \/>\n\tManagement of budget to ensure effectiveness and cost containment<\/p>\n<p>GOVERNANCE, RISK AND COMPLIANCE<\/p>\n<p>\tMonitor and report on the operational risk and compliance matters<br \/>\n\tImplement internal control measures to ensure good governance.<br \/>\n\tManage financial risks to protect organisational integrity, create value, prevent financial loss and ensure compliance with applicable policies and legislations.<br \/>\n\tImplement execution internal risk audits identified and address gaps.<br \/>\n\tImplement Occupational Health and Safety Act.<\/p>\n<p>CUSTOMER AND STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT<\/p>\n<p>\tChampion relationships with key external industry and media stakeholder<br \/>\n\tCreating value in each customer interaction and focusing on the total customer experience.<br \/>\n\tManage relations with influencers<br \/>\n\tAccurate identification of and compliance with customer needs<br \/>\n\tCustomer queries\/ complaints resolved in accordance with service standards and SLA\u2019s<\/p>\n<p>FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT<\/p>\n<p>\tOversee unit operational expenditure against approved budget and introduce corrective<br \/>\n\tMeasures to ensure financial discipline and accountability.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that the operational budget is managed in such a way as to assure no wasteful expenditure.<\/p>\n<p>INHERENT\/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n<p>\tBachelors Degree or Diploma in marketing, Communications or related Field (NQF 6\/7)<\/p>\n<p>EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n<p>\t4 years&#8217; experience in Brand and PR Management<\/p>\n<p>KNOWLEDGE<\/p>\n<p>\tBudget management and forward scenario planning<br \/>\n\tPFMA and relevant national treasury regulations<br \/>\n\tBrand marketing<br \/>\n\tPublic relations<br \/>\n\tEvents management<br \/>\n\tMicrosoft office<br \/>\n\tReport writing<br \/>\n\tBudget management<br \/>\n\tProject management<br \/>\n\tUnderstanding of the different role players within the broadcasting landscape<br \/>\n\tProject management<br \/>\n\tUnderstanding of applicable legislative frameworks and regulations<\/p>\n<p>Deadline:27th April,2026<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC)","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC (SOC) Limited, is a Schedule 2 (Major Public Entity) entity in terms of the Public Finance Management Act NO. 1 of 1999, as amended.
