Principal Accountabilities \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tServe as a primary point of contact between the auditors and internal departments
\n\tSchedule and co-ordinate external audit engagements
\n\tFacilitate meetings and interviews between the auditors and staff.
\n\tAssist in preparing audit documentation and organizing supporting evidence.
\n\tEnsure all documentation is filed according to audit standards and compliance guidelines.
\n\tSupport policy and procedure updates to address audit findings and recommendations.
\n\tMonitor the implementation status of the audit recommendations and the health plan.
\n\tTrack and follow-up on the corrective actions as stipulated in the health plan.
\n\tPrepare reports and presentations on the status of the implementation of the health plan.
\n\tCommunicates routinely with the senior management regarding the audit progress, issues, priorities and departmental work timelines etc.
\n\t?Communicates audit requirements, timelines and findings to all departments.
\n\tTrack the status of the audit deliverables and ensure timely responses from all stakeholders.
\n\tManage the request for information (RFI) and communication of findings (CoF) tracking registers.
\n\tAssist all departments in responding to audit findings received from the auditors.
\n\tMaintain accurate records of the audit plans, reports, responses and related correspondences.
\n\tDevelop tools to improve efficiency of the audit process.<\/p>\n
General<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate all activities related to internal and external auditors.
\n\tRepresent the line manager in meetings where required.
\n\tCollaborate with Management Accounting & Reporting for Budgeting and Forecasting activities.
\n\tContribute to the management of Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) in the Department.
\n\tManage the Internal and External Auditors activities, especially at year end.
\n\tAttend Audit Resolution Committee Meetings, especially with External Auditors at Year
\n\tLiaison with internal stakeholders in the resolution of both internal and external audit findings.
\n\tAttend Interdepartmental & Joint (Cross-functional) meetings, e.g. SCM, Operations, Sales & Marketing.
\n\tEnsure compliance with the Companies Act and Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
\n\tContribute to the management of the Finance Department office<\/p>\n
