You\u2019ll oversee multiple locations, align teams, drive performance, manage budgets, and deliver exceptional customer experiences from a Head Office perspective.<\/p>\n<p>Main Accountabilities:<br \/>\nLeadership Oversight &amp; Strategic Alignment:<\/p>\n<p>\tProvide strong leadership oversight across all Gauteng stores, ensuring consistent execution of company strategy.<br \/>\n\tLead strategic planning for the Gauteng region, including regional sales targets, growth initiatives, and long-term operational objectives.<br \/>\n\tImplement a clear leadership structure while maintaining accountability and operational consistency.<br \/>\n\tMake regional staffing decisions, including hiring, promotions, and talent mobility, to build a strong, sustainable team.<br \/>\n\tMonitor and enhance team capabilities to support both immediate store performance and long-term regional growth.<\/p>\n<p>Sales &amp; Performance:<\/p>\n<p>\tDrive sales growth, gross profit, and overall business performance across all Gauteng stores.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and implement strategic sales initiatives that align with regional objectives and long-term sustainability.<br \/>\n\tManage the regional budget, ensuring profitability, cost efficiency, and alignment with company goals.<br \/>\n\tAnalyze store performance data to identify gaps, foster collaboration, and implement corrective action plans.<\/p>\n<p>Team Leadership &amp; Development:<\/p>\n<p>\tLead, motivate, and mentor teams to strengthen inter-store collaboration and knowledge sharing.<br \/>\n\tFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance across the region.<br \/>\n\tIdentify, develop, and nurture top talent to ensure a sustainable talent pipeline.<br \/>\n\tPartner with HR to manage performance, retention, and regional skills development initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Operations &amp; Customer Experience:<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure operational excellence and consistent standards across all stores, including inventory, merchandising, POS systems, visual displays, and customer service.<br \/>\n\tHandle escalated customer issues with a focus on turning challenges into positive outcomes.<br \/>\n\tSupport day-to-day operations while promoting standardized processes that enable operational efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>Cross-Functional Collaboration:<\/p>\n<p>\tAct as the primary link between stores and Head Office, ensuring alignment with operations, finance, merchandising, marketing, and HR.<br \/>\n\tDrive regional initiatives, marketing campaigns, and local business development while fostering inter-store cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>What you bring:<\/p>\n<p>\tTertiary qualification in Business, Retail Management, or related field.<br \/>\n\tProven success in retail or a related field, with exposure to regional management and experience managing teams is essential \u2013 minimum 3 years.<br \/>\n\tProven experience in leading strategic planning at a regional\/ national level.<br \/>\n\tStrong business acumen and sharp analytical skills.<br \/>\n\tExperience leading teams to consistently exceed sales targets.<br \/>\n\tHands-on experience with customer interactions, sales strategy and complaint resolution.<br \/>\n\tTech-savvy and systems-oriented, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.<\/p>\n<p>Competencies and behaviours for success:<\/p>\n<p>\tHigh-energy, motivated, and capable of inspiring teams across multiple locations.<br \/>\n\tStrategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.<br \/>\n\tStrong communication, influencing, and interpersonal abilities.<br \/>\n\tHands-on, pro-active, and results-driven approach.<br \/>\n\tCommitted to delivering exceptional customer experiences and operational excellence.<br \/>\n\t\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"Weylandts Furniture Cape Town (Pty) Ltd","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"At Weylandts, we believe in creating a work environment as different and beautiful as our furniture.
