We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with strong VMware and enterprise virtualization expertise to design, operate, and support our server, database, and cloud infrastructure.
\n\tThe role prioritizes VMware vSphere environments, while maintaining responsibility across Windows and Linux servers, MS SQL Server platforms, storage, security, backup, and hybrid cloud services.<\/p>\n
You must have the following:<\/p>\n
\t10+ years\u2019 experience in enterprise server and virtualization environments
\n\tHands\u2011on experience with VMware virtualization platforms
\n\tStrong Windows Server and Linux administration skills
\n\tExperience with MS SQL Server clustering \/ HA
\n\tBackup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and performance optimization
\n\tScripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash)
\n\tSound understanding of infrastructure security and compliance<\/p>\n
Advantageous Skills & Certifications:<\/p>\n
\tVMware VCP \/ VCAP certifications
\n\tContainer platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
\n\tAdvanced networking and network virtualization
\n\tLinux certifications (RHCE \/ LPIC)
\n\tAzure and hybrid\u2011cloud experience<\/p>\n
Your Key Performance Activities will include but not limited to:\u00a0<\/p>\n
Process:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDesign, implement, and operate VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter) environments
\n\tSupport other virtualization platforms (e.g. Hyper\u2011V, cloud\u2011based solutions)
\n\tImplement and support advanced networking and virtualization technologies (VXLAN, SDN)
\n\tAdminister and support MS SQL Server environments, including failover clustering and high availability
\n\tManage server, storage, and backup infrastructure in line with SLAs and best practices
\n\tMaintain secure, compliant, and highly available systems across the group
\n\tContribute to infrastructure architecture, modernization, and optimization initiatives<\/p>\n
