Purpose of position:<\/p>\n
\tTo determine the quantum and merit of segmented commercial motor claims in a fair, reasonable and accurate assessment.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tAssessing commercial vehicles to determine the extent of damages
\n\tPerforming investigations and verifying the description of the event against the loss
\n\tExplaining the extent of the damages to clients and\/or brokers
\n\tUpdating brokers on the status of vehicle repairs
\n\tEngaging in necessary negotiations with clients, intermediaries and service providers<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in motor assessing
\n\tCommercial insurance and\/or broker experience preferred
\n\tAudatex knowledge would be advantageous
\n\tQualified panel beaters \/ motor mechanics will be given preference
\n\tPart sourcing experience would be beneficial
\n\tMust have a solid understanding of the claims philosophy and the application thereof<\/p>\n
