\tReview application and database designs and architectures to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.\u00a0
\n\tEnforce use of approved design patterns, standards, and reusable components.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Governance and compliance<\/p>\n
\tManage the implementation and enforcement of security controls aligned to ISO27001 standard.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure compliance with ICT policies, processes, governance standards, and audit requirements.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure alignment of solutions with ICT strategy, enterprise architecture, and governance frameworks.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Release and change management<\/p>\n
\tManage the release management processes, including DevOps processes.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure all changes are tested, approved, and deployed in line with change management standards.\u00a0
\n\tManage quality through code reviews, version control, and technical assurance practices and adherence to configuration and deployment practices and discipline.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Performance monitoring and reporting<\/p>\n
\tEnsure monthly reporting on performance across application development, databases, and application support services.\u00a0
\n\tProvide visibility into delivery progress, operational health and related risks.\u00a0
\n\tDevelop technical metrics to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Stakeholder engagement<\/p>\n
\tLead business and technical stakeholder engagements on delivery progress, risks, and decisions.\u00a0
\n\tManage communication of complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.\u00a0
\n\tLead the feasibility studies, timelines, and impact of technical initiatives.\u00a0<\/p>\n
People and capability development<\/p>\n
\tMentor and coach technical team members to enhance capability and performance.\u00a0
\n\tPromote knowledge sharing through on-the-job training, documentation, and collaborative practices.\u00a0<\/p>\n
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tA relevant university ICT degree\u00a0
\n\tMinimum six-year experience in leading application and database support teams.
\n\tMinimum six-year experience leading IT software development projects
\n\tMinimum six-year experience managing software development projects
\n\tMinimum three-year experience in DevOps and agile methodologies
\n\tITIL foundation certificate advantage
\n\tISO27001 certification will be advantageous
\n\tAzure Developer Associate certificate will be advantageous.
\n\tIndustry recognised certification in agile methodology will be advantageous<\/p>\n
