Job Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tThe Key Account Consultant is accountable for the end-to-end management and performance of an allocated Mass Market partner portfolio. The role drives delivery of partner strategies to achieve sustainable production, retention, and service outcomes. Acting as the primary commercial interface, it ensures effective partner engagement, performance governance, and SLA compliance. Targeted intervention, turnaround, or remediation is initiated where partner performance falls below expectations.<\/p>\n

Key Account Strategy & Partner Engagement\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and execute account strategies for allocated partners aligned to Mass Market objectives.\u00a0
\n\tOwn structured partner engagement, including performance reviews, governance forums, and escalation management.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Partner Growth Management\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDrive partner growth through targeted production, retention, and profitability initiatives.\u00a0
\n\tIdentify expansion opportunities within existing partner portfolios.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Partner Performance Intervention\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMonitor partner performance against agreed targets and expectations.\u00a0
\n\tIdentify emerging underperformance and initiate timely corrective action.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Turnaround, Recovery & Remediation\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tLead turnaround and recovery plans for underperforming partners.\u00a0
\n\tDiagnose root causes impacting performance, service, or compliance.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Retention & Production Initiatives\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tExecute retention strategies to reduce lapses and improve portfolio sustainability.\u00a0
\n\tDeliver production uplift initiatives aligned to commercial priorities.\u00a0<\/p>\n
SLA Compliance & Policy Management\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMonitor partner compliance with agreed SLAs and service standards.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure adherence to policy, process, and governance requirements.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Broker & Agency Allocation and Management\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tManage the allocation of brokers and agencies across the partner portfolio.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure fair and effective distribution aligned to capacity and performance capability.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Required Knowledge and Experience\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nMinimum \u00a0<\/p>\n
\t5 years\u2019 experience in Key Account Management, Partner Management, Distribution, or a similar commercial role within Financial Services.
\n\tProven experience managing broker, agency, or partner portfolios.
\n\tDemonstrated experience driving partner performance, growth, and retention outcomes. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Desirable<\/p>\n
\t7 years\u2019 experience within a Mass Market, advice-led, or distribution-driven environment.
\n\tProven experience leading partner performance interventions, turnarounds, or remediation initiatives.
\n\tExperience working within regulated environments with formal governance, SLA, and compliance requirements.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Educational Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tUndergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Sales, Marketing or related \u00a0
\n\tRE Exams highly advantageous
\n\tPostgraduate degree in Business, Finance or related advantageous
\n\tFinancial services related certifications advantageous<\/p>\n
