\tThe Account Executive: Healthcare is primarily responsible for a portfolio of clients, providing strategic healthcare consulting, leading service delivery, and managing projects. The role includes direct interaction with clients, management of internal support teams, and strategic relationship building with healthcare providers and employer groups.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Strategic Management of Clients<\/p>\n
\tImplement and manage healthcare strategies and projects within employer groups.
\n\tProvide overall management of all corporate clients, including regular engagements.
\n\tPropose strategies to mitigate risks, improve efficiencies, and leverage opportunities.
\n\tMentor and manage member and admin consultants, including providing training.
\n\tManage data, communication, and engagement with at least two healthcare providers on behalf of the team.
\n\tConduct detailed analysis of client benefits and make provider recommendations.
\n\tCompile and present reports that demonstrate value delivery.
\n\tIdentify and pursue new business and cross-selling opportunities under the Head of Healthcare.
\n\tFacilitate relationships between clients and healthcare providers.
\n\tSupport the Healthcare team with client-specific strategies and communications.
\n\tBack up member and admin consultants when required.
\n\tPresent member renewals and conduct one-on-one sessions as needed.
\n\tProvide face-to-face support for member\/HR\/Payroll queries.
\n\tPresent client inductions and support onboarding activities.
\n\tAssist with onboarding of employees onto healthcare plans, including plan advice.
\n\tRespond to escalated and complex client enquiries in a timely manner.<\/p>\n
Client Relationship Management<\/p>\n
\tLiaise with insurers, healthcare providers, and third-party service providers to resolve issues.
\n\tBuild and manage relationships with HR and Payroll teams.
\n\tConduct training with HR on internal processes and procedures.
\n\tAssist HR with queries related to billing and medical scheme benefits.<\/p>\n
Compliance<\/p>\n
\tMaintain and update client records in compliance with regulatory standards.
\n\tEnsure \u201cfit and proper\u201d status and timely completion of CPD requirements.
\n\tUse approved ROAs and send to clients in line with compliance regulations.
\n\tMaintain a sound understanding of the Medical Schemes Act and related legislation.
\n\tAttend internal training to ensure up-to-date product and compliance knowledge.
\n\tEnsure the admin system is used for recording all client interactions.
\n\tPromote and explain complimentary products such as gap cover.<\/p>\n
Reporting and Data Management<\/p>\n
\tMaintain accurate and compliant client records.
\n\tKeep a secure and organised database of client data, adhering to confidentiality.
\n\tAlert Senior Management of any client risks.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tNQF5 qualification and RE5 (post-graduate diploma or BCom is advantageous).
\n\t5\u201310 years of relevant healthcare experience in financial services.
\n\tProficiency in English and at least one other official South African language.
\n\tComputer literacy (MS Office)
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license and own vehicle.<\/p>\n
