Scope of position:<\/p>\n
\tUnder the general direction of the Housekeeping Management, ensure all linen is exchanged and delivered according to standards, all corridors are vacuumed, and every guest request is completed in a timely manner.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure the highest levels of guest service through the application of Fairmont Core standards and standard operating policies.\u00a0
\n\tTo make sure all soiled linen is regularly emptied from the pantry and returned to the linen room.
\n\tTo stock up all pantries with clean linen according to par-stock
\n\tTo assist the linen room as required with daily tasks.
\n\tTo report immediately any Lost and Found article(s) whether found in room, corridors, service lift landing, public areas, or basement.
\n\tTo report any equipment which is malfunctioning to the Floor Supervisor or Housekeeping Management.
\n\tTo be responsible to sign for assigned key, pager, work paper and return by end of shift.
\n\tTo ensure that all equipment including vacuums, used for the day are cleaned and stored in the storeroom.
\n\tTo vacuum and dust all corridors and staircases as assigned by section.
\n\tTo bring any guest supplies daily to pantries according to daily order list and replenish service areas.
\n\tTo note all Guest requests received via HSK Supervisors\/Management and carry out exactly all requests.
\n\tTo move furniture from time to time.
\n\tTo refill daily chemicals.
\n\tTo clean all walls lights\/ceiling lights as required
\n\tTo do brasso and clean windows with window frames in all arrival and long stay guest rooms.
\n\tTo assist with the removal of guestroom drapery for cleaning
\n\tTo conduct deep cleaning tasks as assigned (e.g., Spot carpet cleaning, shower head de-scaling, etc).\u00a0
\n\tTo keep Housekeeping Office, floor pantries & storerooms clean & tidy always.
\n\tTo report anything which could be classed as a Health & Safety hazard.
\n\tAssist in on job training of new House Attendants as and when required.
\n\tTo attend training courses given by Housekeeping and Human Resources
\n\tTo comply with any reasonable request by the Supervisor and Hotel Management.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tFluency in English essential
\n\tCompetency in verbal English essential
\n\tPrevious experience in Hotel Housekeeping department desirable
\n\tPrevious experience in customer service desirable
\n\tPrevious experience in 5-star property desirable
\n\tDynamic, energetic and thrives under pressure.<\/p>\n
