General Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tEffectively utilises software applications and communication tools that are used to facilitate the collection and cataloguing of market information for the purposes of generating sales leads and sales
\n\tEffectively manages processes and systems that enable Sales to be generated and guests to be comfortably accommodated to the highest standards of the hotel
\n\tEffectively utilises property management software and tools to monitor the preferences of Hotel Guests and works to produce appropriate Sales and Promotional strategies
\n\tEnsures that all enquiries are responded to, that accurate quotations are generated and sent to clients within the specified time frame
\n\tEnsures that all Revenue Reports, Daily Pick-Up reports, Sales Activity, Strategy Adjustment reports are accurately produced with the specific time frame
\n\tTakes responsibility for the performance of the Sales functions of the hotel
\n\tAttends trade shows and Sales events to Showcase the Group to the Market
\n\tEnsure that annual planner is kept up to date re sales meeting minutes \u00a0Assist with travel arrangements
\n\tProvide administrative support on a one-to -one basis.
\n\tAssist managers to make the best use of their time by dealing with administrative tasks
\n\tLiaise with clients, suppliers and other staff
\n\tDevise and maintain office systems, including data management, filing, etc.
\n\tArrange travel and accommodation and, occasionally, travel with the manager to provide general assistance during presentation
\n\tComply with company safety regulations, rules, policies, and procedures at all times.
\n\tFamiliarise yourself with the company vision and values which link to our model of desired behaviours that we expect all employees to display.
\n\tPerform other tasks at the level of the role as directed by your line manager in pursuit of the achievement of business goals.

Customer Specific Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tEnsure world-class service is delivered to the Guest, by collaborating with the 3rd Party Distributors on all matters impacting Bookings and the Guest Service provision
\n\tTogether with the relevant teams and specialists, ensures that policies, processes and standards directly affecting the Guests do reflect their safety, security concerns and preferences
\n\tAssists with the implementation and monitoring of processes and systems that ensure the highest levels of confidentiality and security of information<\/p>\n
People Specific Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tSupports an environment that contributes to positive employee engagement and commitment to the job
\n\tPromote and maintain compliance and awareness of health, safety and security issues in accordance with applicable legislation and best practice<\/p>\n

\tWorks to ensure that REVPAR targets are consistently achieved or surpassed.
\n\tLooks for opportunities to prevent damage of equipment and reduce the consumption of stock without affecting quality
\n\tWorks to ensure that Sales, Up\/Cross-sell targets are consistently achieved
\n\tHelps to reduce the cost of distribution by finding new less expensive means of delivering business<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\t3 Years of experience in the Sales operations of a luxury hotel
\n\tProficient user of OPERA
\n\tProficient in the application of Up-Sell and Cross-Sell strategies
\n\tHospitality Management Qualification or relevant prior experience.
\n\tExtensive Background in Sales<\/p>\n
