We have an amazing opportunity for a Food Service Assistant to be based at one of our sites. The Food service assistant will execute a variety of tasks associated with food, production, front of house services and any general support needed regarding all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tTo ensure that the Company & Statutory regulations regarding cleanliness & hygiene are complied with within all tasks undertaken.
\n\tTo ensure that the quality standards of both customer service and operating processes, health and safety standards and food standards are met.
\n\tAssists in the preparation of meals, especially salads and desserts.
\n\tPlaces entrees, salads, desserts and other food on the serving line.
\n\tKeeps the serving line well-stocked and clean.
\n\tMay assist in training new employees.
\n\tStores and records food leftovers.
\n\tKeeps canteen tables, kitchen and other areas clean and orderly.
\n\tTo ensure that customer expectations are met within the provisions of the contract.
\n\tTo ensure a high level of customer service within the area of responsibility.
\n\tWhere applicable, to ensure that stock in the designated area of responsibility is counted and signed over to the correct staff on the following shift.
\n\tTo carry out any reasonable request by management.
\n\tTo report and where possible take action when faced with customer and client complaints or compliments.
\n\tTo attend meetings and training courses as may be necessary.
\n\tPerforms related work as assigned.<\/p>\n
Skills and Competencies\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAbility to follow instructions and work independently.
\n\tKnowledge of hygiene and safety standards.
\n\tGood communication and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n
Qualifications\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tEducation: Completed National Senior Certificate or equivalent.
\n\tExperience: Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, or similar environment preferred<\/p>\n
