The role:<\/p>\n
\tAssist with the payments process, accuracy of payment runs, maintenance of the payment calendar and requests from the Business. Identify and allocate cash receipts from customers and all bank clearing activities.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:<\/p>\n
\tReview payment batches within the process governed timeframe
\n\tAssist in reviewing manual payments and funding requests to the Treasury function
\n\tAssist with checklist signoffs and duplicate payment signoffs
\n\tQuery management and resolution via the Case management tool within the process goverened timeframe
\n\tInvestigate and action payment rejections
\n\tAccurate and timely Bank Clearing
\n\tMaintain relationships and provide information to internal stakeholders
\n\tLiaison with Supply and Marketing functions
\n\tAssist in the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedure documentation
\n\tAssist with system testing and internal controls as required and ensure adherence to implementing improved controls
\n\tProvide assistance with internal and external audit requirements
\n\tEnsure alignment with and compliance to internal controls including Code of Business Conduct, Group Level Frameworks, Standards, Policies, agreements, systems and procedures
\n\tIdentify initiatives to improve the overall performance of the sub-function by optimising the utilisation of existing processes.
\n\tActive participation in ad-hoc Cash and Treasury projects.
\n\tDevelop supportive relationships with team members, and demonstrate and promote operational discipline when executing day-to-day activities.
\n\tActively contribute towards achieving set performance targets and objectives.
\n\tIdentify risks and provide input into planning and actioning risk assessment.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tFinancial \/ Accounting Diploma (1 year)
\n\t2 to 3 years\u2019 experience in accounts payable environment
\n\tRelevant knowledge and experience in SAP
\n\tStrong numerical, analytical, and communication skills
\n\tWorking knowledge in payment processing
\n\tWorking knowledge of process improvement processes and methodology
\n\tUnderstanding of compliance and governance requirements
\n\tProficiency in MS Office Suite
\n\tIn possession or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n
