Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tInstall, assemble, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery on site
\n\tPerform routine inspections, fault finding, and preventative maintenance on plant equipment
\n\tRead and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
\n\tAlign, fit, and secure components using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
\n\tDismantle and reassemble pumps, valves, gearboxes, turbines, and related mechanical systems
\n\tEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and site procedures
\n\tIdentify mechanical defects and recommend corrective actions
\n\tWork closely with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure efficient workflow
\n\tMaintain accurate maintenance records and complete job reports
\n\tEnsure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and materials
\n\tParticipate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments
\n\tAssist with shutdowns, breakdowns, and emergency repairs as required
\n\tAdhere to quality standards and ensure all installations meet required specifications
