This is achieved by putting in place a clear and consistent account management strategy, creating strong focus within the public enterprise segment, and ensuring that portfolio management exceeds guidelines for each account.<br \/>\n\tThe role provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to the segment\u2019s sales function. As a senior sales leader, the incumbent works closely with the\u00a0Chief Sales and Marketing Officer\u00a0to ensure overall segment sales performance, the profitable achievement of segment sales goals, and alignment of segment sales objectives with the organisation\u2019s business strategy.<br \/>\n\tTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<\/p>\n<p>ROLE REQUIREMENT<\/p>\n<p>\tPrimarily involved in the development, evolution, and approval of the long-term vision across the segment.<br \/>\n\tSets segment strategy and significantly influences business unit strategy.<br \/>\n\tProvides leadership to sales teams.<br \/>\n\tProvides technical guidance to sales teams.<br \/>\n\tGives regular, comprehensive and constructive feedback to team and conducts their performance appraisals<br \/>\n\tProactively seeks feedback from team members and deals constructively with any criticism.<br \/>\n\tAdjusts management style to get the best from the individuals within the team.<br \/>\n\tDelegates work to team members taking into account their capacity, level of skill and exposure to different types of work and complexity.<br \/>\n\tProvides clear instructions and direction, with reasonable deadlines.<\/p>\n<p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n<p>\tFormulate and implement high level strategies to drive sales in the identified segments.<br \/>\n\tDefine and execute operational strategy to acquire new customers within the identified segment.<br \/>\n\tDefine and execute operational strategy to grow share of wallet within existing customers in the identified segment.<br \/>\n\tDrive a high-performance sales culture within the identified segment using a strong sales management system.<br \/>\n\tProvide mentorship and coaching to salespeople in the achievement of their sales objectives.<br \/>\n\tAccurately forecast in the weekly cadence to achieve organisational sales and financial objectives.<br \/>\n\tTrack sales team metrics \u2013 pipeline accuracy, forecast accuracy and pipeline coverage, target achievement \u2013 and coach for performance.<br \/>\n\tImplement and execute on performance improvement plans for poor performance.<br \/>\n\tDrive strategic customer engagements at C-level within the identified segment.<br \/>\n\tProvide input into commercial negotiations for purposes of closing strategic deals.<\/p>\n<p>TECHNICAL \/PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES<\/p>\n<p>\tSolid track record of managing key strategic\u00a0accounts in both public and private enterprises.<br \/>\n\tSolid proven track record of achieving sales targets and sales execution.<br \/>\n\tSolid leadership skills.<\/p>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n<p>\tGrade 12<br \/>\n\tDegree qualification (Essential)<br \/>\n\tPost graduate qualification advantageous<br \/>\n\tSolid understanding of the ICT Industry products and solutions including Cloud, Cyber-security and Digital<br \/>\n\tFor the Public Sector Segment, a solid understanding of PFMA and government buying cycles \u2013 ability to interact within all spheres of government at strategic levels.<br \/>\n\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills.<br \/>\n\t8+ years of experience in Sales as well as at management level.<\/p>\n<p>LEADERSHIP COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n<p>\tExceptional team management skills.<br \/>\n\tExcellent verbal and written communication.<br \/>\n\tAbility to delegate efficiently.<br \/>\n\tExtensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future.<br \/>\n\tDiplomacy and patience.<br \/>\n\tPeople skills<br \/>\n\tStrategic thinking<br \/>\n\tListening.<br \/>\n\tThe ability to set and execute the vision of the company.<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>nexio.simplify.hr<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/nexio.simplify.hr","_company_name":"Nexio","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"At Nexio, we enable our clients to modernise their environments and adopt new technologies.
