CNS (East Rand) (JHB East Rand)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Role Purpose:<\/p>\n<p>\tTo deliver a comprehensive HR business partnering service by supporting line management across operational HR, labour relations, talent, performance management, workforce planning, and people governance, while ensuring compliance with South African labour legislation, collective agreements, and internal policies.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Operational HR &amp; Employee Relations<\/p>\n<p>\tProvide end\u2011to\u2011end HR support across the employee lifecycle.<br \/>\n\tAct as the first point of contact for line managers on HR\u2011related matters.<br \/>\n\tManage disciplinary, grievance, misconduct, incapacity, and poor performance processes end\u2011to\u2011end.<br \/>\n\tEnsure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and disciplinary codes.<br \/>\n\tFacilitate effective relationships between line management, employees, and shop stewards.<\/p>\n<p>Labour Relations (Unionized Environment)<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport labour relations processes within a unionized manufacturing environment.<br \/>\n\tLiaise with shop stewards and union representatives in collaboration with HR leadership.<br \/>\n\tPrepare for and attend disciplinary hearings, grievances, and consultations.<br \/>\n\tAdvise management on fair labour practices aligned to the LRA, BCEA, EEA, and relevant collective agreements.<\/p>\n<p>Absenteeism, Incapacity &amp; Attendance Management<\/p>\n<p>\tMonitor, analyze, and report on attendance and absenteeism trends.<br \/>\n\tSupport line managers with attendance counselling and corrective action.<br \/>\n\tManage ill\u2011health, medical incapacity, and related processes in line with legislation.<br \/>\n\tEnsure accurate documentation and legal compliance at all times.<\/p>\n<p>Talent Acquisition &amp; Workforce Planning<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport and drive recruitment activities in line with business needs, EE targets, budgets, and SOPs.<br \/>\n\tPartner with the business to identify critical roles and skills requirements.<br \/>\n\tContribute to workforce planning and talent pipeline development.<\/p>\n<p>Performance, Talent &amp; Development Management<\/p>\n<p>\tCoach and support line managers on performance management tools and processes.<br \/>\n\tEnsure KPAs and KPIs are in place for all employees.<br \/>\n\tDrive completion of bi\u2011annual performance reviews.<br \/>\n\tSupport actions to address poor performance where required.<br \/>\n\tContribute to succession planning, retention, and development initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Employee Engagement, Wellness &amp; Communication<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport and facilitate employee engagement initiatives.<br \/>\n\tCoordinate and promote wellness and EAP programmes.<br \/>\n\tContribute to internal employee communications, including newsletters and HR initiatives.<br \/>\n\tSupport change management initiatives through clear and consistent communication.<\/p>\n<p>HR Governance, Reporting &amp; Compliance<\/p>\n<p>\tProvide HR data and reports on a weekly and monthly basis.<br \/>\n\tMaintain HR data integrity, records, organograms, and job profiles.<br \/>\n\tCoordinate and support internal and external audits.<br \/>\n\tSupport HR compliance initiatives, reviews, and continuous improvement activities.<br \/>\n\tIdentify people\u2011related risks, trends, and improvement opportunities and provide insights to HR leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Leadership, Decision\u2011Making &amp; Values<\/p>\n<p>\tExercise sound judgement in policy interpretation and people decisions.<br \/>\n\tOperate with high levels of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.<br \/>\n\tTake initiative in resolving complex people matters, escalating where required.<br \/>\n\tContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the HR environment.<br \/>\n\tModel ethical leadership and organizational citizenship behaviours.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>\tNational Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or related field<br \/>\n\tPostgraduate HR \/ Industrial Relations qualification advantageous<br \/>\n\tRecognition of Prior Learning (RPL) will be considered<\/p>\n<p>Experience<\/p>\n<p>\t5\u20137 years\u2019 HR generalist experience<br \/>\n\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in a unionized manufacturing or industrial environment<br \/>\n\tStrong exposure to disciplinary hearings, grievances, and labour relations<\/p>\n<p>Skills &amp;
