Job summary<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a Trust Assurance Specialist to join the Trust Office team at DigiCert. This role is responsible for owning defined compliance and assurance areas, including audit execution, control management, and regulatory alignment.
\n\tThe successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or audit, with the ability to independently manage audit and control activities and engage stakeholders across the organization.
\n\tThis role reports to the Head of Compliance and works closely with cross-functional teams across Security, IT, Legal, and Operations.<\/p>\n
What you will do<\/p>\n
Audit & Assurance Support<\/p>\n
\tOwn and manage assigned external (e.g., SOC 2, WebTrust) and customer audits
\n\tPlan audit activities, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of evidence
\n\tTrack, manage, and drive remediation of audit findings<\/p>\n
Regulatory Compliance<\/p>\n
\tEnsure ongoing compliance within assigned frameworks (e.g., WebTrust for CAs, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST)
\n\tInterpret regulatory requirements and ensure controls align with both regulatory expectations and internal policy frameworks\u00a0<\/p>\n
Control Management<\/p>\n
\tDesign, document, and evaluate controls to ensure effectiveness and compliance
\n\tPerform and oversee control testing within assigned areas
\n\tIdentify control gaps and drive remediation efforts<\/p>\n
Risk & Governance Support<\/p>\n
\tProvide input into risk assessments and support broader risk management activities.
\n\tAssist in maintaining compliance documentation and reporting.<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Collaboration<\/p>\n
\tPartner with internal teams (Security, IT, Legal, HR, Operations) to support compliance initiatives.
\n\tAct as a point of contact for audit-related queries within assigned areas.<\/p>\n
Continuous Improvement<\/p>\n
\tStay informed on relevant regulatory and industry developments.
\n\tIdentify opportunities to improve compliance processes, tools, and reporting.<\/p>\n
General<\/p>\n
\tSupport a culture of compliance and security awareness across the organization.
\n\tPerform other related duties as assigned.<\/p>\n
What you will have<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Law, Compliance, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
\n\tMinimum 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, audit, or related roles
\n\tExperience managing audits and working with frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, WebTrust, or NIST
\n\tExperience in control design, documentation, and testing
\n\tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
\n\tExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills
\n\tAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities<\/p>\n
Nice to have<\/p>\n
\tExposure to PKI, cybersecurity, or cloud environments
\n\tProgress toward or attainment of certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CISSP<\/p>\n
