\tAccountable for the effective planning and replenishing, in a cost-effective manner, all bill of materials to meet the production plan. This includes, but is not limited to, packaging and packaging related items and raw materials (bulks and ingredients). Any risk must be highlighted and managed to ensure continuity of supply.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma \/ B Degree in Operations Management \/ Logistics \/ Supply Chain \/ Accounting \/ Purchasing
\n\tCPIM \/ CSCA will be an advantage
\n\tComputer literate \u2013 MS Office \u2013 Advanced Excel Skills
\n\tRelevant experience in Supply Chain
\n\t3 years\u2019 operational experience in a FMCG production environment
\n\tSound understanding and knowledge of MRP \/ MPS logic<\/p>\n

Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tCo-ordinate and maintain the replenishment schedule and analyze the schedule by doing \u201cwhat if\u201d scenarios and report on progress.
\n\tHighlight and identify resource constraints and recommend processes to eliminate resource constraints.
\n\tSuggest batch size changes, re-routing of products and outsourcing\/purchasing of additional materials.
\n\tIdentify and highlight critical material shortages and products which are at risk.
\n\tCompare net requirements against scheduled receipts in monthly periods using extracts from MPS.
\n\tManage and maintain planning reports \u2013 MRP\/Risk File.
\n\tInteract and problem solve all daily customer queries and resolve with the necessary sense of urgency.
\n\tManage and maintain the Supplier relationships.
\n\tManage Import documentation and permit applications and liaise with Rohlig regarding shipments.
\n\tAssist QA and other departments with CoA\u2019s and other queries.
\n\tContinuously review and improve relevant system parameters, such as safety stocks, re-order points and lot sizes, also keeping MRP master data correct and up to date.
\n\tTo liaise with Procurement department to secure volumes and manage suppliers.
\n\tTo set up and run daily, weekly, and monthly control reports.
\n\tProvide forecasts to suppliers and procurement to ensure contracts are in place on time and suppliers can meet delivery requirements.
\n\tDaily order management.<\/p>\n
