Role Overview<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced\u00a0Display & Sublimation (Technical) Floor Manager\u00a0to take full technical and executional ownership of our Display and Sublimation production floor.
\n\tThis is a\u00a0hands-on, technically demanding role\u00a0responsible for driving production execution, resolving complex technical challenges, and ensuring consistent output, quality, and efficiency. The successful candidate must possess deep practical knowledge of how products are built, costed, and produced \u2014 from file stage through to final finished product.
\n\tThis role plays a critical part in stabilising production performance, refining processes, and supporting ongoing product and business growth.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMinimum\u00a05+ years\u2019 experience\u00a0in both Display and Sublimation production environments
\n\tStrong experience in\u00a0BOM creation and product costing
\n\tProven experience in\u00a0workforce planning and shift structuring
\n\tBackground working in a\u00a0high-volume, deadline-driven production environment<\/p>\n
Core Technical Requirement (Critical)<\/p>\n
\tThe successful candidate must have\u00a0hands-on, practical technical expertise\u00a0across Display and Sublimation machinery and materials.<\/p>\n
This includes a thorough understanding of:<\/p>\n
\tMachine operations, limitations, and correct settings
\n\tMaterial behaviour during printing, pressing, cutting, stitching, and finishing
\n\tThe impact of machine settings and material selection on\u00a0quality, output, cost, and efficiency
\n\tDiagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues\u00a0directly on the production floor<\/p>\n
Machine-Specific Experience (Non-Negotiable)<\/p>\n
Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving issues on:<\/p>\n
\tZ\u00fcnd cutting systems\u00a0(calibration, accuracy, cutting defects)
\n\tHP Stitch \/ Large Format printers\u00a0(print quality, colour consistency, head issues)
\n\tColour management systems\u00a0(e.g. Colourrate or equivalent) \u2013 profiling, calibration, colour matching
\n\tMonti Antonio presses\u00a0or equivalent (temperature, pressure, and dwell-time control)
\n\tCandidates must demonstrate the ability to identify\u00a0root causes, not just symptoms.<\/p>\n
Advanced Technical Knowledge<\/p>\n
Display Production<\/p>\n
\tIn-depth understanding of display unit components (frames, fabrics, hardware, fittings)
\n\tKnowledge of materials including PVC, vinyl, banner materials, and fabrics<\/p>\n
Understanding of material behaviour during:<\/p>\n
\tPrinting
\n\tHeat application
\n\tFinishing and assembly<\/p>\n
Sublimation Production<\/p>\n
\tStrong understanding of pattern design and panel breakdowns
\n\tKnowledge of fabric behaviour under heat and pressure
\n\tStitching flow, garment construction, and allowances
\n\tPanel alignment and production accuracy requirements<\/p>\n
Critical Technical Competencies<\/p>\n
Ability to actively troubleshoot and resolve:<\/p>\n
\tColour and ink-related issues
\n\tMachine performance issues across print, press, and cutting
\n\tLayout, template, and print file problems
\n\tStitching and garment construction defects
\n\tMaterial-related inconsistencies and failures<\/p>\n

\n\tEnd-to-end production processes
\n\tTake products from\u00a0concept \u2192 sample \u2192 production-ready<\/p>\n
Operational & Execution Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tTake full ownership of production execution
\n\tEnsure all jobs are production-ready before commencement
\n\tDrive and monitor daily output targets
\n\tEnforce schedule adherence
\n\tManage workflow from\u00a0print \u2192 press \u2192 cut \u2192 sew
\n\tIdentify and resolve bottlenecks, idle time, and performance issues
\n\tImplement immediate corrective actions where required
\n\tEnsure accurate reporting and effective escalation<\/p>\n
Planning, Costing & Commercial Understanding<\/p>\n
\tStrong understanding of BOM structures and costing principles
\n\tAbility to validate and challenge costing assumptions
\n\tControl material usage, waste, and efficiencies
\n\tKnowledge of industry suppliers, materials, and lead times<\/p>\n
