Duties and responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate national research projects within the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) to attain deliverables within the set time, with agreed resources and within budget by applying project management principles.
\n\tSet up budget estimates, control project costs, and manage risks.
\n\tLiaise with project stakeholders and funders regarding project schedule and deliverables.
\n\tProvide project management training to CTL staff.
\n\tUpdate and distribute service agreement contracts with various national and international institutions.
\n\tPrepare correspondence, including meeting minutes, for team\/stakeholders.
\n\tCommunicate with stakeholders\/sponsors regarding project progress about timelines, funding and deliverables.
\n\tOrganise logistical arrangements with regard to workshops and conferences online\/face-to-face.
\n\tCoordinate and assist with the preparation of reports pertaining to projects\u2019 progress and deliverables.
\n\tSupport project external and internal evaluation processes and audits.
\n\tEnsure quality management of project deliverables.
\n\tCollaborate with other researchers within CTL and UFS on data-related research and analysis.
\n\tInterpret results from the above-mentioned and write reports based on findings.<\/p>\n
Inherent Job Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree or an Advanced Diploma\/B.Tech degree\/Postgraduate Certificate on NQF Level 7 or a 3-year National Diploma on NQF Level 6 in Project Management or related field.\u00a0
\n\tA minimum of two (2) years\u2019 relevant working experience in project management.<\/p>\n

\tProject management experience within the higher education environment.
\n\tKnowledge of university systems, policies, and procedures.<\/p>\n
