Key Purpose<\/p>\n
\tTo accurately process, reconcile, report, and support the end to end commissions lifecycle across SmartComm, Source Finance, and related systems, ensuring timely and accurate commission payments, robust monthly reporting, audit support, and effective resolution of commission queries through strong system engagement and controls. This role exists to protect commission accuracy, support month end and audit processes, and ensure operational stability through proactive monitoring, reconciliation, and system issue resolution.<\/p>\n
Areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n
Commission Processing & Accuracy<\/p>\n
\tManage daily commission processing across SmartComm and Source Finance to ensure commissions are calculated, transferred and settled correctly, so that brokers and internal stakeholders are paid accurately and on time.<\/p>\n
Reconciliations & Data Integrity<\/p>\n
\tPerform daily, monthly and periodic reconciliations between policy systems, commission systems and payment files to ensure completeness and accuracy of commission data for financial reporting and audit purpose<\/p>\n
Commission Reporting & Information Delivery<\/p>\n
\tPrepare, validate and distribute commission\u2011related reports to internal teams and external partners to support monitoring of commission flows and management reporting.<\/p>\n
Month\u2011End, Year\u2011End & Audit Support<\/p>\n
\tSupport month\u2011end, year\u2011end and audit processes by preparing schedules, calculations and audit evidence, and investigating anomalies identified during review.<\/p>\n
Query Resolution & Stakeholder Support<\/p>\n
\tInvestigate and resolve commission\u2011related queries from brokers, distribution, servicing and internal teams within agreed SLAs, ensuring confidence in commission outcomes.<\/p>\n
Systems Engagement & Issue Resolution<\/p>\n
\tLog, manage and track commission\u2011related system incidents, data issues and enhancement requests through JSM, Jira etc to ensure defects are resolved and root causes addressed.<\/p>\n
Testing & Go\u2011Live Validation<\/p>\n
\tExecute functional and end\u2011to\u2011end testing for new commission benefits, rule changes and system enhancements to ensure accuracy prior to implementation.<\/p>\n
Continuous Improvement & Projects<\/p>\n
\tContribute operational input, data validation and monitoring to commission\u2011related projects and improvements to support automation, scalability and control.<\/p>\n

\tMatric (Essential) \u00a0\u00a0
\n\tRelevant Degree\/Diploma in Finance or Accounting – (advantageous)<\/p>\n
Minimum Experience: \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\t2 years experience working in a financial institution (essential)
\n\t1 year short term insurance experience (advantageous)
\n\t2-3 years financial administration experience (essential)
\n\t1 year commission experience (essential)<\/p>\n
