Vascular Surgical Devices | Cape Town"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description<\/p>\n<p>\tSalesworx is looking to recruit a Sales Consultant with experience and expertise in Laparoscopy, Surgical Stapling and Capsule Endoscopy.<br \/>\n\tThis Candidate should be based in\u00a0Gqeberha with a go to network.<\/p>\n<p>Areas of Responsibility\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tResponsible for the sales of the Laparoscopy, Surgical Stapling and Capsule Endoscopy products, including maintaining and growing existing business and expanding of sales within the assigned territory.<br \/>\n\tScheduling and attending appointments with existing and potential customers;<br \/>\n\tDemonstration of products to Clinical personnel;<br \/>\n\tCompletion of weekly planner and activity report for submission to direct Manager;<br \/>\n\tAchieving Sales Targets;<br \/>\n\tResponsible for networking with and development of relationships with new customers and managing existing customers;<br \/>\n\tEffective Management of consignment stock.<br \/>\n\tRequesting and following up on quotations;<br \/>\n\tGeneral Administration associated with the position;<br \/>\n\tAll activities to be recorded on Force Manager CRM.<\/p>\n<p>Responsible for Marketing Activities:<\/p>\n<p>Marketing:<\/p>\n<p>\tAssist the Product Manager with Journal clubs, workshops, meetings and various conferences as needed;<br \/>\n\tAssist the Sales Managers with the Sales budgeting per territory for the SBU;<br \/>\n\tEffective implementation of tactical and strategic plan;<br \/>\n\tEffective marketing activities including congresses and customer workshops and educational events;<br \/>\n\tDaily calls to customers and new prospects;<br \/>\n\tEffective promotion of all products offered by the company;<br \/>\n\tSales Knowledge to allow for effective selling of product features and benefits;<br \/>\n\tEvaluation, analyses and report on Competitors\u2019 products, drive strategies and driving appropriate business responses.<\/p>\n<p>Customer Relations:<\/p>\n<p>\tIn your product and marketing capacity, establish a network with the stakeholders in the Hospitals: Physicians and Key Opinion Leaders.<br \/>\n\tBuild and maintain strong relations with all stakeholders, including customers, payors, government and employees in representing our full line of products and services;<br \/>\n\tAttending to appointments with customers and prospects;<br \/>\n\tGather customer requirements in cooperation with Sales Managers to ensure customer satisfaction;<br \/>\n\tAssist when needed with successful congresses and training workshops;<br \/>\n\tAssist with identifying the correct customers to attend product training to ensure an ROI;<br \/>\n\tManage relationships with all customers, prospects and key opinion leaders where needed;<br \/>\n\tMaintain good relations and communication with internal customers i.e., Customer Services, Finance Department, Logistics and Management;<br \/>\n\tUtilising customer profiling and mapping tools to grow product families according to customer need but in line with our business strategy and focus products.<\/p>\n<p>Sales Reports and Administration:<\/p>\n<p>\tAchieve monthly and quarterly sales budgets for the SBU;<br \/>\n\tAchieve annual sales budgets per SBU;<br \/>\n\tAssist where need to attend to Daily Ariba\/Trade world, tender input and quote requests;<br \/>\n\tExpense claims handed in on time as per the schedule received from Finance with correct cost allocations;<br \/>\n\tMonthly reports to the Sales Manager submitted before 5th of the month;<br \/>\n\tWeekly call reports and Weekly call planners to be recorder on Force Manager and to be sent to the Sales Manager;<br \/>\n\tCompliance to regulatory SOP\u2019s, SA Regulations and Code of Business Ethics;<br \/>\n\tMaintain the Company\u2019s ethical position. Effectively communicate and manage Company business conduct policies.<\/p>\n<p>Training:<\/p>\n<p>Sales Representative role:<\/p>\n<p>\tMaintain a high level of motivation to ensure marketing function is well implemented;<br \/>\n\tPreparation and conducting of presentations at Sales Consultants\u2019- and management-meetings;<br \/>\n\tAssist Sales Managers with product queries and\/or technical\/clinical application information;<br \/>\n\tManage your portfolio by living the company values.<\/p>\n<p>Training Events:<\/p>\n<p>\tIdentify and implement educational events for customers to achieve growth;<br \/>\n\tManage the implementation of workshop activities with sales team and customers;<br \/>\n\tTrain new customers on the range of products as set out by your Manager;<br \/>\n\tAssist with identifying workshops and educational events that will deliver a ROI and result in product growth;<br \/>\n\tParticipate in company business and sales meetings and provide input to management;<br \/>\n\tAttend and assist when needed for planning of all congresses identified.<\/p>\n<p>Administrative Duties:<\/p>\n<p>Reports:<\/p>\n<p>\tAdhere to credit policies and procedures of the group;<br \/>\n\tMaintain all administrative responsibilities associated with this position, monthly reporting on marketing activities;<br \/>\n\tEnsure all product and marketing activities comply with legal and ethical standards;<br \/>\n\tManaging all company expenses within the marketing budget provided;<br \/>\n\tAdhere to any legal or medical requirements and inform management of changed requirements;<br \/>\n\tSubmit monthly report to senior management and record all activities on Force Manager CRM.<\/p>\n<p>Stock management:<\/p>\n<p>\tAssist with Stock rotation and slow-moving identification and returns;<br \/>\n\tAssist Sales Managers with input from the field on stock ordering and give feedback on stock requirements from the field;<br \/>\n\tManagement of consignment stock allocated to customers on request from Sales Managers;<br \/>\n\tManagement of boot stock allocated to yourself and rotation of stock when needed to reduce unnecessary expiration of products;<br \/>\n\tShould a procedural kit procedure be implemented in the SBU \u2013 the responsibility of managing this and evaluating the effectiveness of it remains your responsibility;<br \/>\n\tGive effective feedback to Management on Consignment stock;<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>\tGrade 12 (Matric) is a minimum requirement;<br \/>\n\tA relevant degree or diploma is an advantage;<br \/>\n\tAny medical-management or -marketing qualification would be a definite advantage.<\/p>\n<p>Experience Required<\/p>\n<p>\tPrevious Sales experience;<br \/>\n\tMedical experience is a preference and previous experience in a similar position such as Laparoscopic and Surgical Stapling or any experience in the Medical Industry would be an advantage;<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of the target group of customers such as General Surgeons, Gynaecologists, Urologist and Thoracic Surgeons and relevant Support Staff, will be an advantage;<br \/>\n\tClinical and product knowledge will be a definite advantage;<br \/>\n\tExisting relationships with customer base will be a definite advantage;<br \/>\n\tComputer literacy and proficiency on MS Office, specifically Excel (level 2 at least) and MS Word is a requirement for this position;<\/p>\n<p>Skills\/Competencies<\/p>\n<p>\tAdvanced planning and organizational skills;<br \/>\n\tExcellent written &amp;
