This executive leadership role reports to the CEO and leads and directs the HR functions of the entire organisation while acting as a strategic business partner to the CEO and executive leadership team.<\/p>\n<p>POSITION DESCRIPTION: OUTPUT<br \/>\nMAIN OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION<br \/>\nStrategic HR Leadership<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the companys business strategy.<br \/>\n\tServe as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to overall company strategy and decision-making.<br \/>\n\tDrive organizational effectiveness and sustainability through innovative HR practices.<\/p>\n<p>Talent Management &amp; Development<\/p>\n<p>\tDesign and oversee comprehensive talent management programs, including recruitment, retention, and succession planning.<br \/>\n\tLead performance management systems and processes across the organization.<br \/>\n\tDevelop leadership capabilities through targeted development programs.<br \/>\n\tCreate and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.<\/p>\n<p>Organizational Design &amp; Change Management<\/p>\n<p>\tLead organizational design and restructuring initiatives as the company evolves.<br \/>\n\tManage change processes effectively to minimize disruption and maximize adoption.<br \/>\n\tEnsure alignment between organizational structure and business objectives.<\/p>\n<p>Employee Relations &amp; Engagement<\/p>\n<p>\tEstablish and maintain positive employee relations across all business units.<br \/>\n\tOversee employee wellbeing and wellness programs.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies and initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>HR Compliance &amp; Governance<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure compliance with South African labour laws and regulations.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and implement HR policies, procedures, and standards.<br \/>\n\tManage HR risk and implement appropriate governance frameworks.<\/p>\n<p>HR Operations &amp; Systems<\/p>\n<p>\tOversee the implementation and optimization of HR systems and technology.<br \/>\n\tMonitor HR metrics and analytics to drive continuous improvement.<br \/>\n\tManage the HR budget effectively.<\/p>\n<p>JOB EVALUATION CRITERIA: INPUT<br \/>\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS<br \/>\nFORMAL EDUCATION<\/p>\n<p>\tAt least a B-degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,<br \/>\n\tIndustrial Psychology, or related field.<br \/>\n\tMasters degree in a relevant field would be advantageous.<br \/>\n\tProfessional HR certification (e.g., SABPP registration).<\/p>\n<p>EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n<p>\t10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years at executive level.<br \/>\n\tProven experience in a media, publishing, or digital organization preferred.<br \/>\n\tDemonstrated success in developing and implementing HR strategies that support business objectives.<br \/>\n\tSignificant experience in leading organizational change and transformation.<br \/>\n\tExperience working in a diverse, multi-faceted organization.<\/p>\n<p>KNOWLEDGE &amp;
