Role purpose:<\/p>\n
\tThe incumbent will be the technical expert that implement changes to the IP Network Portfolio
\n\tAssist with IP\/MPLS Architecture and Planning of International IP Networks
\n\tThe incumbent would be required to stay up to date with the latest technology evolution in IP networking domain Design and implement robust solutions, taking design best practice frameworks into consideration
\n\tWork with various Subject Matter Experts in developing and implementing robust and innovative solutions.<\/p>\n
Main Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tDesign, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for company, with a focus on VMware, Cisco, and Microsoft Azure technologies, engaging with 3rd party vendors as required.
\n\tEnsure the network is operating at peak performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
\n\tCollaborate with cross-functional global teams to ensure the network meets the organization’s needs.
\n\tImplement and maintain network security protocols to protect the organization’s data and infrastructure.
\n\tStay up-to-date on industry trends and new technologies in network engineering and security.
\n\tDevelop and maintain network documentation and diagrams, ensuring all<\/p>\n
Must have technical \/ professional qualifications:<\/p>\n
\t5 years or more years of Technical experience on networking components in terms of architecture, design, implementation testing CCIE (or equivalent) certification preferred
\n\tUniversity Degree in Electrical Engineering, B. Tech or Engineering Diploma
\n\tA Valid Drivers License and own reliable car essential.
\n\tAble to work under pressure and deadline driven
\n\tA Willingness to learn and to be a team player.
\n\tStrong Problem solving & analytical skills.
\n\tA keen interest in Strategy and project management with administration skills
\n\tEven tempered and patient nature configurations are up-to-date and accurate in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
\n\tBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
\n\tAt least 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on VMware Cisco, and Microsoft Azure technologies.
\n\tIn depth knowledge of network virtualization such as VMware NSX or Cisco ACI
\n\tExperience designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructure.
\n\tKnowledge of network security protocols and best practices.
\n\tExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
\n\tStrong communication and collaboration skills.
\n\tAbility to multitask and work in a high paced environment.<\/p>\n
Skills<\/p>\n
\tDeep knowledge of Internet and IP\/MPLS Network technology.
\n\tSpecifically, Broad and deep technical knowledge of the following as a minimum: MPLS (LDP, RSVP, fast reroute, SegmentRouting), BGP, ISIS, OSPF, Ethernet (inc. QoS & OAM), L2 & L3 VPNs IP-QoS, BNGs, IPMulticast, PPP, L2TP, 3rd Party Ethernet & broadband access products, MEF services (E-LAN,E-tree , ELine.), Internet peering & transit, RIPE,
\n\tIPv6 and NFV.
\n\tKnowledge in IP\/MPLS technologies and services.
\n\tExcellent communication and presentation skills.
\n\tDemonstrable security best practice awareness across service provider
\n\tIP\/MPLS domains.
\n\tFamiliar with Traffic and KPI indicators on IP\/MPLS Networks
\n\tDemonstrable thought leadership into emerging technologies
\n\tUnderstanding of key IP\/MPLS operational and\/or IP\/MPLS network design requirements.
\n\tGood background on Hw and Sw characteristics and lifecycle, in-depth understanding of features and how they work in a real environment
\n\tFamiliar with Traffic and KPI indicators on IP Networks.
\n\tExperience in Firewall Configuration<\/p>\n
