\tA leading payment solutions company is seeking a motivated Junior Developer to join their growing team in Stellenbosch (Hybrid). This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled individual with a passion for development to work on secure, high-volume transaction systems.
\n\tThe ideal candidate will be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tPerform technical integration of new clients into existing systems.
\n\tConduct development testing and support continuous integration processes.
\n\tMaintain and enhance current system functionality.
\n\tDesign and develop new features and system improvements.
\n\tProvide 3rd line support and resolve technical queries.
\n\tSupport system security requirements and participate in audits.
\n\tContinuously improve development techniques, tools, and processes.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tTertiary qualification (or equivalent) in Software Development, Computer Science, or Engineering.
\n\t2\u20133 years\u2019 relevant software development experience.
\n\tStrong experience in Java (Standard and Enterprise Editions) and Spring Boot.
\n\tProficiency in SQL (MS SQL Server and\/or PostgreSQL).
\n\tExperience with development tools such as Eclipse or NetBeans, Maven, and Git.
\n\tExperience working in a continuous integration and testing environment.
\n\tUnderstanding of OpenAPI protocols.
\n\tExposure to financial transaction processing systems (advantageous).
\n\tExperience with high-volume, real-time or multi-threaded systems (advantageous).
\n\tPostilion development experience (advantageous).
\n\tFamiliarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban (advantageous).
\n\tFront-end development experience using Angular (advantageous).<\/p>\n
