Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tAn NQF5 level qualification plus relevant industry certification (video producing, graphic design or animation)
\n\tMinimum three years\u2019 work experience in creating video and digital media across various software platforms (i.e. creating graphics, video production for film and social media and other formats)
\n\tStrong communication (written and verbal) skills
\n\tAbility to create different types of high quality, creative and contextually relevant graphics, or gaming or
\n\tanimation outputs (Adobe suite, Adobe illustrator, Adobe After Effects)
\n\tBasic knowledge and some experience of using generative AI tools for media creation (i.e Midjourney, Vyond, Sora)
\n\tAbility to train and manage students and lecturers.
\n\tExperience of working in a team
\n\tDemonstrate a high level of attention to detail<\/p>\n
Advantageous:<\/p>\n
\tExperience working with DaVinci Resolve
\n\tKnowledge and experience of working in a recording studio
\n\tKnowledge and experience of working in higher education contexts
\n\tAbility to ingest and transcode media
\n\tAn NQF 6 level qualification<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tSupport provided for design and production of video and digital media for teaching and learning
\n\tRecord, edit and export all media for CILT\u2019s and Digital Media Unit projects
\n\tStudio assistance and equipment maintenance
\n\tLiaise with the video production team, learning designers, students and lecturers.
\n\tKeep track of project information and data
\n\tWebinar training and capacity building support
\n\tMedia management and data storage
\n\tThe annual cost of employment for 2025 is R433 709 depending on experience.<\/p>\n
