In our endeavour to support technology innovation with socio-economic outcomes, we seek to infuse the organisation with team players that find resonance as value creators, agile thinkers, progressive attitudes, customer-centricity, dynamic work ethic and an optimistic disposition. \u00a0We aim to harness these attributes in a manner that they culminate into a culture of teamwork, impact and accountability.<br \/>\n\tThe Technology Innovation Agency endeavours to promote the careers of previously disadvantaged persons by applying the principles of the Employment Equity Act, as amended.<br \/>\n\tThe Agency reserves the right not to make an appointment.<\/p>\n<p>Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<br \/>\nQualification<\/p>\n<p>\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Labour Relations, Industrial Psychology, Law, or equivalent.<br \/>\n\tPostgraduate in Labour Relations will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n<p>Work Experience\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\t5 years Labour Relations experience in a unionized environment.<br \/>\n\tProven experience personally handling and representing employers in:\u00a0<br \/>\n\tInternal disciplinary hearings,<br \/>\n\tCCMA conciliation proceedings.<br \/>\n\tSolid exposure to CCMA arbitration and Labour Court matters<br \/>\n\t8 years\u2019 experience in Employee Relations in a unionized environment and CCMA representation will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n<p>Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<br \/>\nInternal Processes<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop, review and implement proactive employee relations policies and procedures.<br \/>\n\tTrain the business on applicable policies, procedures, grievance procedures and applicable labour laws.<br \/>\n\tMaintain a complete LR case register (grievances, disciplinaries, disputes, referrals) and ensure all case files contain required documentation and correspondence.<br \/>\n\tCoordinate and support grievance and disciplinary processes (notices, chairing support, bundles, findings, outcomes) to ensure procedural and substantive fairness.<br \/>\n\tInitiate internal disciplinaries and represent the organisation and the CCMA conciliations and other dispute resolution platforms.<\/p>\n<p>Stakeholder Relationship<\/p>\n<p>\tBuild relationship with Executives and Business unit heads to guide and advice the business on employee relations matters.<br \/>\n\tManages the relationship between management and employees (or unions), ensuring compliance with labor laws, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, and resolving disputes.<\/p>\n<p>Financial Perspective<\/p>\n<p>\tProvide input to the development of the Labour relations budgets and forecasts.<br \/>\n\tDrive early settlement\/withdrawal of matters where appropriate by preparing complete case files, advising line management, and exploring internal resolution before referral.<\/p>\n<p>Learning and Growth<\/p>\n<p>\tKeep up to date with labor legislation, jurisprudence, and industry trends.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and deliver LR awareness sessions (grievances, discipline, code of conduct, union engagement) for line managers.<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>tia.erecruit.co<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/tia.erecruit.co","_company_name":"Technology Innovation Agency","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"The Technology Innovation Agency was created by an act of the South African parliament on 24 November 2008.
