Role overview:<\/p>\n
\tThis position is responsible for planning and forecasting the merchandise range within the designated business unit of Weylandts.<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tRange review: Preparing, analysing and making recommendations for HW Tier 3 Category, that are aligned with budget as well as our strategy to meet targets.
\n\tPrepare a Bottom-up Plan that delivers the strategies identified in the range review strategic meetings.
\n\tConvert the Bottom-up Plan into the Buy Plan detailing the timing of orders by supplier.
\n\tPrepare and conduct reporting meetings once a month that deal with the OTB; Inventory Health and AOS. The meetings should propose and approve actionable items to ensure that PO Spend, Inventory Quality and use of Discount Channel are well managed and aligned to the Top-Level budget plan for the HW Division.
\n\tProposal of new orders required (in conjunction with Buyer).
\n\tManage stock levels through new orders and clearance sales \/ AOS
\n\tOngoing control of the spend to approved budget.
\n\tResponsible for Store Allocations; to ensure that they are actioned as per the strategy.
\n\tPerform ad-hoc investigations or report on trend and insights at request of the CEO.
\n\tIdentify opportunities for improvement in systems and processes to ensure that the planning function is efficient and delivers robust data driven insights that support the strategic goals of the business.<\/p>\n
What you bring:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in related field
\n\tProven working experience as a Merchandise Planner (5+ years), specifically dealing with replenishment.
\n\tProven track record in data analysis, forecasting, and inventory management.
\n\tGood understanding of retail industry
\n\tProficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI).<\/p>\n

\tHighly degree of numeracy, able to work with large volumes of data
\n\tStrong analytical skills \u2013 ability to think strategically & commercially
\n\tAttention to detail, accuracy, disciplined to check work
\n\tProficient in Microsoft Excel
\n\tTeam working and interpersonal skills
\n\tExcellent organisation skills and the ability to multitask
\n\tAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment<\/p>\n
