Purpose of the Role:<\/p>\n
\tTo serve customers in a polite and friendly manner, offering coffee selections, assisting with basic food preparation, handling cash transactions, and actively supporting unit sales promotions.<\/p>\n
Education and Experience Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12) is essential
\n\tCustomer service experience is essential
\n\tExperience in a similar role is required<\/p>\n
Key Areas of Responsibility<\/p>\n
\tProvide friendly, professional service to all customers
\n\tPrepare and serve basic food and beverage items
\n\tOperate the cash register and manage transactions efficiently
\n\tPromote daily specials and sales promotions to customers
\n\tAlways maintain a clean and organized work area<\/p>\n
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge of coffee types and coffee preparation
\n\tBasic understanding of food preparation techniques
\n\tStrong communication and interpersonal skills
\n\tAbility to handle cash and operate a till accurately
\n\tAbility to work independently as well as part of a team
