Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n
\tOversee the entire cooking process from preparation to plating, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
\n\tPrepare and cook all dishes according to company recipes and specifications, ensuring consistency in taste, portion control and presentation.
\n\tOperate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, following standard operating procedures at all times.
\n\tMaintain strict adherence to food hygiene, safety, and health regulations for yourself and the team.
\n\tMonitor compliance with company policies to ensure a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment.
\n\tEnsure all caf\u00e9 meals are prepared to the highest standard of quality and presentation.
\n\tMaintain cleanliness and organization of caf\u00e9 fridges, labeling and dating all items according to company procedures.
\n\tMonitor inventory and stock rotation to reduce waste and maintain quality standards.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tChef’s diploma \/ qualification from a registered tertiary education provider<\/p>\n
Requirements and Experience:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tExperience in food quality management and standardisation
\n\tStrong focus on quality and adherence to sanitation procedures
\n\tExcellent physical condition and stamina
\n\tAbility to travel and relieve colleagues at other facilities only when required<\/p>\n
Skills and Knowledge:<\/p>\n
\tAbility to follow sanitization procedures
\n\tConsistently focus on maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of food preparation and service
\n\tProven track record of delivering exceptional food quality in every dish
\n\tIn-depth understanding of food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality
\n\tProficient in various cooking and baking techniques and methods
\n\tKnowledge of health and safety requirements in a kitchen environment\u00a0<\/p>\n
