Job Description<\/p>\n
\tWe currently have a vacancy for the position of Driver, based in Cape Town.
\n\tOverall purpose of the job: \u00a0Responsible for the delivery of BCE goods in accordance with pre-determined route sheets and pre-planned schedules.<\/p>\n
The duties will include but will not be limited to:<\/p>\n
\tOperating and maintaining vehicles with a focus on safety and customer service;
\n\tPerforming daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections;
\n\tPerforming minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary;
\n\tFuelling the vehicles and ensuring that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported;
\n\tDelivers goods in accordance with route sheets and pre-planned schedules;
\n\tEnsures all POD’s are returned for filing and reconciliation purposes;
\n\tEnsures goods delivered are the same as goods shown on the delivery notes and queries with dealers are dealt with professionally and\/or reported to the Operations Manager;
\n\tKeep logs of activities and deliveries<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12\/Matric
\n\t2 years\u2019 experience in a driving related capacity
\n\tUnendorsed Code 10 drivers license
\n\tPDP
\n\tHigh energy levels
\n\tSober habits
\n\tProfessional and presentable
\n\tAbility to work overtime if required
\n\tPunctual, friendly and hard working<\/p>\n
