Job Description<\/p>\n
\tPurpose: The purpose of this job is to deliver exceptional customer service in such a manner that external and internal customers are satisfied including delivery and transfer drivers. \u00a0This is accomplished by offering friendly customer service, ensuring clean and tidy environment and accurate loading of all customers\u2019 products purchased ensuring that the Yard runs efficiently so that no losses of neither stock nor dissatisfied customers occur in order to have customers return to the store increasing sales and profit margins.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tLoading customers vehicles, delivery trucks and transfer trucks promptly and accurately
\n\tEnsuring that stock is properly stacked and counted
\n\tAssist with pulling of stock for transfers
\n\tReporting stock shortages
\n\tReporting stock breakages
\n\tUp keeping of tidiness and cleaning of area by sweeping and upholding good housekeeping
\n\tAssisting customers with excellent customer service and product knowledge
\n\tBagging of stone\/ sand
\n\tParticipating in perpetual stocktakes
\n\tEnsuring housekeeping of work area
\n\tPerforming any work related tasks as delegated by your superior<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tMatric or Equivalent
\n\t1 Year minimum experience in a similar role (preferred)
\n\tAbility to deliver excellent customer service
\n\tAbility to numerically count stock
\n\tAble to work independently and as a team player
\n\tBe disciplined and motivated
\n\tAbility to handle pressure
\n\tAbility to communicate effectively (verbal)
\n\tPhysical fitness and stamina\u00a0<\/p>\n
