About the role<\/p>\n
\tJoin our company where you will manage the administration of the department\u2019s day to day Accounts payable. To ensure that all invoices meet pre-set VAT requirements and correctness of billing. Accurate and timeous processing of invoices. Checking of payment runs. Compilation of audit documentation. Supplier queries and adhoc reconciliations.<\/p>\n
What you will bring<\/p>\n
Inherent requirements for the position (non-negotiable)<\/p>\n
\tMinimum BCom with Accounting III
\n\tMDA experience\u00a0
\n\tAt least 2-5 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance roles, ideally within the property management or real estate industry.
\n\tProficiency in SAP and MS Office Suite, particularly Advanced Excel, Intermediate Word, and Outlook.<\/p>\n
Additional demonstrable requirements:<\/p>\n
\tStrong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
\n\tProven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
\n\tExperience in complex financial analysis and reporting.
\n\tThorough understanding of financial policies and procedures.
\n\tFamiliarity with capital expenditure processes and management.
\n\tProficient in tax principles, including VAT, and their application.
\n\tSound understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
\n\tAnalytical mindset with a strategic approach to financial management.
\n\tStrong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
\n\tCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in financial matters.<\/p>\n
What you will be doing<\/p>\n
As an important member of our team, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities crucial to the smooth operation and financial oversight of our property management division. Key duties include:<\/p>\n
Finance administrator responsibilities include maintaining records for all transactions and preparing financial reports with knowledge of bookkeeping activities.<\/p>\n
\tProcess Supplier and intercompany invoices
\n\tEnsure all monthly invoices are received from suppliers
\n\tPrepare Creditors Recons
\n\tResolve supplier queries
\n\tPrepare Intercompany and Supplier approval lists and provide variance comments
\n\tGenerate weekly payment runs and sign off.
\n\tProcess Credit card expenditure
\n\tMonthly credit card analysis and recon
\n\tMaintaining of monthly supplier payment checklist
\n\tPrepare intercompany balance confirmation letters
\n\tGeneral ledger maintenance.
\n\tVendor maintenance and BEE monitoring including the management of BEE certificates and affidavits upon expiry
\n\tPreparation of BEE procurement report.
\n\tRecord keeping and archiving.
\n\tMonthly reports and statistics from the system
\n\tBest practices and corporate governance adhered to.
\n\tAssist with statement runs<\/p>\n
