The Programme Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex, cross functional change initiatives within Transactional Services. The role ensures strategic alignment, disciplined execution and measurable outcomes across multiple workstreams, while managing risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations.
\n\tThis role acts as the single point of accountability for programme delivery, translating business strategy into executable plans and ensuring benefits are realized across Transactional Services.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:
\nProgramme Delivery & Execution<\/p>\n
\tOwn the planning, governance and delivery of large-scale Transactional Services programmes across business, technology, operations, risk and compliance.
\n\tEstablish and maintain programme roadmaps, milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
\n\tEnsure delivery outcomes meet defined scope, cost, timeline and quality objectives.<\/p>\n
Stakeholder & Executive Management<\/p>\n
\tEngage senior stakeholders across Transactional Services, IT, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance and external vendors.
\n\tProvide clear, concise programme reporting to Exco, SteerCo and Senior leadership.
\n\tProactively manage expectations, escalations and decision-making forums.<\/p>\n
Governance, Risk & Control<\/p>\n
\tImplement strong programme governance, including RAID logs, financial tracking and benefits realization.
\n\tIdentify, assess and mitigate delivery, operational and regulatory risks.
\n\tEnsure alignment with internal policies, audit requirements and regulatory standards.<\/p>\n
Financial & Benefits Management<\/p>\n
\tManage programme budgets, forecasts and provisions.
\n\tTrack and report on costs, savings, efficiencies and benefits realization.
\n\tSupport business cases and investment decision-making where required.<\/p>\n
Change & Delivery Enablement<\/p>\n
\tDrive adoption through structured change management, communications and readiness planning.
\n\tCoordinate delivery across Agile and Waterfall workstreams, ensuring consistent outcomes.
\n\tFoster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.<\/p>\n

Required Experience & Skills:<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\tProven experience delivering large, complex programmes within banking or financial services.
\n\tStrong background in Transactional Services, Payments, Cash Management, or Core Banking environments.
\n\tDemonstrated experience engaging senior executives and governance forums.
\n\tExperience managing multi-vendor and multi-workstream programmes.<\/p>\n

\tProgramme and project management (Waterfall, Agile, hybrid environments).
\n\tStrong financial management, budgeting, and benefits tracking capability.
\n\tExcellent risk, dependency, and issue management skills.
