Job Summary<\/p>\n
\tAs the Assistant Learning & Development Manager, you will support the design, coordination, and delivery of training initiatives that uphold and enhance our ultra-luxury service standards. Working closely with the Learning & Development Manager and department leaders, you will play a key role in ensuring colleagues at all levels are equipped to deliver personalized, high-level service aligned with Kerzner and One&Only brand values.
\n\tThis role is highly operational, focusing on the seamless execution of learning programs, supporting colleague development journeys, and fostering a culture of continuous learning across the resort. The position and relevant team members will be based out of HR offices to ensure daily connection and communication.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Learning Delivery & Facilitation<\/p>\n
\tSupport the design and deliver engaging training sessions aligned with ultra-luxury hospitality standards, including guest engagement, emotional intelligence, service etiquette, and cultural awareness.
\n\tFacilitate selected training sessions across departments, ensuring consistency in delivery and experience.
\n\tAssist in onboarding new colleagues through structured orientation programs that immerse them in the brand and service culture.<\/p>\n
Learning Coordination & Administration<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate all training logistics including scheduling, venue setup, materials, attendance tracking, and communication.
\n\tMaintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with all mandatory training requirements.
\n\tSupport the administration and upkeep of the Learning Management System (LMS), including uploading content, tracking completion, and reporting.<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Support & Business Partnering<\/p>\n
\tWork closely with department heads to understand operational training needs and support the rollout of relevant learning initiatives.
\n\tAssist in the execution of departmental training plans to ensure alignment with business goals.
\n\tProvide on-the-ground support to leaders in reinforcing training through coaching and follow-up.<\/p>\n
Learning Programs & Initiatives<\/p>\n
\tSupport the rollout and facilitation of Kerzner core training programs and brand-specific learning initiatives.
\n\tAssist in the coordination of leadership development, high-potential programs, and colleague development journeys.
\n\tContribute to the delivery and tracking of internal training programs and learning campaigns.<\/p>\n
Trainer & Talent Support<\/p>\n
\tSupport the development and engagement of departmental trainers by assisting with training, tracking, and communication.
\n\tAssist in coordinating initiatives such as internships, graduate programs, and other development pipelines.
\n\tHelp identify and nurture talent through observation and feedback, in collaboration with the L&D Manager.<\/p>\n
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement<\/p>\n
\tAssist in evaluating training effectiveness through feedback, participation data, and basic reporting.
\n\tSupport the continuous improvement of training programs by gathering insights and suggesting enhancements.
\n\tStay informed of learning trends and tools to support innovation in training delivery.<\/p>\n
Culture & Engagement<\/p>\n
\tPromote a strong learning culture through effective communication, visibility, and engagement initiatives.
\n\tSupport internal communication related to learning programs, including newsletters, updates, and campaigns.
\n\tAssist in creating a positive and engaging training environment that reflects the brand\u2019s standards.<\/p>\n
Required Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\t1\u20133 years\u2019 experience in hospitality operations or learning & development.
\n\tExposure to luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality environments preferred.
\n\tBasic experience in training facilitation or coordination is advantageous.
\n\tStrong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
\n\tConfident communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Learning Management Systems is beneficial.
\n\tPassion for people development and creating exceptional learning experiences.<\/p>\n
