What You\u2019ll Be Doing:<\/p>\n
Security Enforcement<\/p>\n
\tGuard and secure Montego premises, property and assets
\n\tApprehend criminals and evict violators in accordance with legal and company procedures
\n\tRestrain trespassers where required
\n\tProvide off-site guarding support to Montego employees when necessary<\/p>\n
Access Control, Surveillance and Operations<\/p>\n
\tEnsure all security systems are fully operational and report any faults
\n\tConduct physical security checks and risk assessments relating to intrusion or safety incidents
\n\tProvide physical and remote escort services in high-risk areas
\n\tRespond to and investigate alarm incidents and accurately record them in the Incident Management System
\n\tPerform Control Room duties including:
\n\tCCTV surveillance
\n\tAlarm monitoring
\n\tVehicle tracking
\n\tInvestigate accidents, suspicious activities, fire and safety incidents in line with Montego policy
\n\tMonitor movement of vehicles, goods and products through Access Control systems
\n\tConduct real-time and recorded footage analysis
\n\tRestrict and manage access to designated areas using appropriate security systems
\n\tScreen individuals using detecting devices or physical inspections (in designated private areas)
\n\tReceive and distribute packages from external suppliers
\n\tMaintain accurate security records including incident reports, dispatch entries and shift handover reports
\n\tComplete witness statements and provide evidentiary video footage where required
\n\tPerform additional duties as directed by the Security Supervisor<\/p>\n
Security Support<\/p>\n
\tAnalyse and respond to support requests relating to:
\n\tAccess Control
\n\tSurveillance
\n\tFirst Aid
\n\tOccupational Health and Safety
\n\tGeneral security queries
\n\tVIP arrangements
\n\tProvide security support within required timeframes
\n\tEscalate requests to relevant stakeholders when necessary
\n\tEnsure escalated matters are resolved and feedback is provided
\n\tDeliver all support in accordance with company policies, procedures and legal requirements<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
What We Are Looking For:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 (NQF Level 4)
\n\tPSIRA Grade C Certification
\n\tValid Code B Driver\u2019s Licence
\n\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in security guarding
\n\tStrong communication skills
\n\tConflict management and de-escalation
\n\tHighly confidential and trustworthy
\n\tSomeone who is detail orientated, and able to multitask effectively, has an understanding of security policies & procedures and Access control systems
\n\tKnowledge of relevant security legislation and regulations<\/p>\n
