Main Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure guests are acknowledged, with kindness, warmth and sincerity, when entering and departing the reception area;
\n\tEngage with guests providing information related to the estate, the facilities, art & experiences;
\n\tConduct estate tours with guests;
\n\tOperate telephone and switchboard service for all calls when required;
\n\tRefer calls & provide assistance to the appropriate person depending on the nature of the call;
\n\tCompile and update data related to the area of activity;
\n\tComplete and distribute information that needs to be communicated around the estate;
\n\tEnsure that lunch and dinner booking sheets from the restaurant gets communicated to the appropriate departments;
\n\tKeep management informed of all concerns that guests raise.<\/p>\n
Main requirements:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12, hospitality certificate will be a plus;
\n\tPreferably 1- 2 years previous reception experience;
\n\tExcellent telephone etiquette and customer-service skills;
\n\tFluent in English with excellent written & oral communication skills;
\n\tAble to work in a team;
\n\tGood computer skills (word, excel, outlook);
\n\tStrong organizational skills and attention to detail;
\n\tAvailability to work within Hospitality operating hours (e.g., evenings, public holidays, weekends);
\n\tComfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele;
\n\tAbility to work long hours without fatigue
\n\tMust be well-presented and have an enthusiastic personality.
