\tGrade 12
\n\tTertiary Qualification will be advantageous
\n\tThree years\u2019 experience as a Credit Controller
\n\tSound knowledge and experience relating to debtors\u2019 administration and credit control in the private healthcare environment
\n\tDynamic person with interpersonal skills, strong influencing, and communication skills
\n\tExcellent attention to detail
\n\tExcellent computer skills
\n\tAbility to work well within a team
\n\tAbility to work in a pressurised environment
\n\tUnderstanding of prescribed minimum benefits (PMB) process
\n\tUnderstanding of ICD-10, CPT and hospital billing rules
\n\tIn-depth knowledge of the NHN Billings Guidelines<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tRecover outstanding debt from the medical aid schemes, insurers, patients, members, and guarantors.
\n\tEffectively manage the outstanding debt to prevent bad debt write offs and stale claims.
\n\tManage and work through the age analysis on a daily basis.
\n\tControl outstanding medical aid accounts by processing and submitting all medical aid claims within the required time frame.
\n\tAccurately record the collection status and relevant collection notes of each account.
\n\tPrepare documentation of all accounts in connection with their remittances.
\n\tCapture the remittances and reconcile all claims allocated.
\n\tProcess refund requisitions.
\n\tLiaise with the medical aid schemes and patients to resolve account queries\/shortfalls.
\n\tComplete daily additional functions accurately.
\n\tAdhere to company policies and procedures and uphold the image of the company in a professional manner<\/p>\n
