\tRepresent the Employer\u2019s Agent to the extent of his\/her delegated responsibilities and keep the Employer\u2019s Agent fully informed at all times.
\n\tMaintain a cooperative working relationship with the Contractor\u2019s Representative.
\n\tLiaise with Client Representative \/ Project Manager and manage the relationship.
\n\tEnsure that procedures and systems outlined in GIBB\u2019s site specific Project Plan are put into place and run effectively.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas (KPAs)<\/p>\n
\tOversee and coordinate road construction activities on site, ensuring work meets design specifications, contract requirements, and safety standards.
\n\tMonitor contractor progress and liaise closely with the Contracts Engineer, Site Agent, and service providers to resolve technical and operational issues.
\n\tRefer significant design or materials queries to the Design Engineer and ensure lessons learned are shared for future improvements.
\n\tApply relevant clauses of the General Conditions of Contract to manage project compliance and administration.
\n\tEnsure adherence to the Occupational Health and Safety and Road Traffic Acts and monitor the contractor\u2019s environmental management practices.
\n\tCommunicate effectively with stakeholders, including local communities via the Community Liaison Officer, and coordinate the relocation of services where required.
\n\tLead and document site and technical meetings, maintain accurate site records, and oversee on-site and off-site material testing.
\n\tVerify and certify payment certificates, manage project costs, and assist with variation orders and close-out documentation.
\n\tInspect works for compliance, instruct corrective measures when necessary, and record all information relevant to project progress and claims.<\/p>\n
