The ideal candidate will provide engineering support by analysing, compiling, and recording statistical engineering data for Quality Assurance purposes, ensuring accurate and reliable information is available to all relevant stakeholders and that manufacturing processes consistently meet required quality standards.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and maintain electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and engineering quality procedures, standards, and specifications.
\n\tMaintain QA records and systems (including platforms such as Shopware) and ensure manufacturing data is available and adhered to.
\n\tEnsure manufacturing processes consistently meet required quality and customer standards.
\n\tCoordinate internal and external quality audits and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
\n\tReview and improve quality inspection systems and engineering QA standards.
\n\tDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine performance, product quality, and operational efficiency.
\n\tMaintain document management systems and engineering documentation.
\n\tCompile technical and management reports for relevant stakeholders.
\n\tManage the Facilities Team and coordinate maintenance support, task planning, parts procurement, and external service providers.
\n\tEnsure compliance with applicable regulations, internal controls, and operational procedures.
\n\tIdentify and report operational risks while maintaining accurate documentation and records.
\n\tContribute to budget preparation, monitor expenditure, and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
\n\tMaintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent the organisation in relevant meetings.
\n\tResolve operational issues proactively while maintaining high professional and ethical standards.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tMatric Certificate
\n\tDiploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (NQF 6)
\n\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (NQF 7)
\n\tUp to 5 years\u2019 experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment
\n\tComputer literacy (MS Office and relevant engineering systems)
\n\tKnowledge of quality management systems
\n\tUnderstanding of engineering maintenance systems\u00a0<\/p>\n
