\tWe are looking for an individual with excellent client service skills to join our Client Service Centre Cape Town as a Senior Clerk. You will be responsible for delivery of excellent customer service to our policy holders and to ensure that clients\u2019 requests are processed efficiently, efficiently and accurately within the allotted time.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:<\/p>\n
\tGeneral reception duties to welcome clients
\n\tReceive and assist walk-in clients with inquiries in line with the client services policy and procedure
\n\tand\/or refer to the relevant department.
\n\tUtilize resources and obtain necessary knowledge and skills to handle and complete enquiries
\n\tCommunicate entire processes and or delays and system problems to waiting clients
\n\tGeneral claims, policy services and premium administrative duties relating to client\u2019s policies
\n\tHandling of petty cash, collection of cash from clients for premium payments and refunds of premiums
\n\tPrepare cash for daily banking at the finance department
\n\tReferral of new business to the relevant consultant
\n\tHandle all fraud allegations and complaints
\n\tMonthly and weekly statistics report writing
\n\tGeneral office duties<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tCategory B FAIS accredited (140 Long Term Insurance Credits)
\n\tA suitable industry entry qualification within the requirements of the FSCA
\n\tComply with FAIS legislation for registration as Fit and Proper individuals:
\n\tApplications who entered the industry as follows:
\n\tFrom years 2004 \u2013 2007 requires 30 credits on NQF 4 obtianed by 31 December 2009
\n\tFrom years 2008 \u2013 2009 requires 30 credits or 60 credits on NQF 4 obtained by 31 December2011 or full FAIS recognised qualification obtained by 31 December 2013
\n\tAll those appointed in the industry from the year 2010 onwards require a full FAIS recognized qualification
\n\tClear ITC
\n\tClear criminal record
\n\tRE5 Certificate<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge of and experience in Life Assurance industry, preferably in a Credit Service\/Policy maintenance environment of at least two to three (2-3) years
\n\t2 -3 Years administration experience
\n\tExperience in AVBOB production system will be an advantage<\/p>\n
