{"id":34998,"date":"2026-04-30T16:00:37","date_gmt":"2026-04-30T16:00:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/clinical-resource-consultant-mms-infusion-systems-durban\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T16:01:16","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T16:01:16","slug":"clinical-resource-consultant-mms-infusion-systems-durban","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/clinical-resource-consultant-mms-infusion-systems-durban\/","title":{"rendered":"Clinical Resource Consultant &#8211; MMS\/Infusion Systems &#8211; Durban"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Purpose of Role<\/p>\n<p>\tThe CRC role is a contract time-determined, full-time hours role in MMS\/Infusion Systems and will cover the Infusion portfolio<\/p>\n<p>The Clinical Resource Consultant will:<\/p>\n<p>\tAct as an expert in IV therapy for the MMS Infusion device portfolio with an emphasis on hands on training for clinicians\u00a0<br \/>\n\tTake overall responsibility for all clinical aspects of the portfolio within the assigned geography and provide pre- and post-sales support in a clinical, training and educational capacity.<br \/>\n\tEffectively leverage their clinical and product knowledge to advance sales opportunities as they relate directly to customer needs.<br \/>\n\tFlexibly support the sales team, acting as an expert, advisor and troubleshooter.<br \/>\n\tWorking in partnership with customers, the Clinical Resource Consultant will advocate best clinical practices for the portfolio, with particular emphasis on the correct selection and use of intravenous administration lines.<\/p>\n<p>Role Key Elements:<\/p>\n<p>The primary responsibility of the Clinical Resource Consultant is to support the sales team with clinical support, which may include but is not limited to the following key areas:<\/p>\n<p>\tAttainment and maintenance of clinical expertise in all aspects of IV therapy across Care Areas, to deliver reliable information and education to customers and associates.<br \/>\n\tOffer clinical and technical support to customers and internal teams.<br \/>\n\tDevelop peer-to-peer clinical relationships with key customers.<\/p>\n<p>Main Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>\tAttainment and maintenance of clinical expertise in all aspects of IV therapy across Care Areas, to deliver reliable information and education to customers and associates.<br \/>\n\tOngoing clinical development \/ updates to keep up to date with clinical practice and pertinent guidelines.<br \/>\n\tOffer scientific &amp; clinical\/product support to customers, internal teams &amp; distributors teams<br \/>\n\tTroubleshoot and answer clinical queries as required in an appropriate manner<br \/>\n\tReport product complaints as needed. (As soon as possible, and at a maximum within 48 hours)<br \/>\n\tSupport sales team members as appropriate.<br \/>\n\tProvide feedback following field visits, so a support plan can be implemented.<br \/>\n\tAttend MMS exhibitions as requested to support sales-booth staff.<\/p>\n<p>Dataset Management &amp; Systems Enablement<\/p>\n<p>\tThe CRC will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and governing a centralised archive of all customer datasets per account.<br \/>\n\tA laptop will be issued (Windows-based) with the required operating system and software will be provided to ensure the CRC can perform all dataset-related responsibilities effectively.<br \/>\n\tA dataset repository already exists; however, customers frequently request updates, refreshes, or modifications based on evolving clinical and operational needs.<\/p>\n<p>The CRC will:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tConsolidate existing datasets into the central archive.<br \/>\n\tEnsure datasets are available to internal and external stakeholders as required.<br \/>\n\tProactively engage with customers and internal stakeholders to design, develop, and update datasets in line with business and clinical requirements.\u00a0<br \/>\n\t48-hour turnaround expectation refers to:<br \/>\n\tAcknowledgement of request.<br \/>\n\tConfirmation of scope.<br \/>\n\tCommunication of a clear execution plan and delivery timeline.<\/p>\n<p>Driving Set Utilisation (Commercial Enablement)<\/p>\n<p>The CRC will work closely with the commercial and sales teams to:<\/p>\n<p>\tDefine minimum requirements and success metrics for increasing set utilisation.<br \/>\n\tAlign on priority accounts where targeted pull-through strategies are required.<br \/>\n\tExecute agreed utilisation growth plans and track outcomes consistently.<br \/>\n\tThis role is critical in closing the gap between device deployment and optimal consumable utilisation.<\/p>\n<p>Market Shaping &amp; Clinical Leadership<\/p>\n<p>The CRC will lead and support the clinical market-shaping agenda through:<\/p>\n<p>\tStructured clinical engagements.<br \/>\n\tEducation and best-practice alignment with both new and existing customers.<\/p>\n<p>The CRC will act as the clinical custodian and trusted advocate for the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) portfolio, including:<\/p>\n<p>\tInfusion systems.<br \/>\n\tSets and consumables.<br \/>\n\tDispensing and broader MMS solutions where relevant.<\/p>\n<p>Strong clinical leadership and subject matter expertise is required to:<\/p>\n<p>\tInfluence adoption.<br \/>\n\tShape clinical practice.<br \/>\n\tSupport market development aligned to strategic objectives.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>Essential Qualifications and Personal Skills and Attitudes:<\/p>\n<p>\tRegistered Nurse (preferably experienced or qualified Critical Care Nurse) minimum five-years of experience.<br \/>\n\tProficient in MS Office.<br \/>\n\tExcellent clinical knowledge and familiarity with infusion devices.<br \/>\n\tPreferable teaching\/training experience.<br \/>\n\tA strong desire to develop the skills and knowledge of others.<br \/>\n\tConfident in giving presentations to small and large groups.<br \/>\n\tDemonstrates excellent communication skills that work effectively with all levels of customers.<br \/>\n\tWell organized, able to prioritize appropriately, and displays good time management skills.<br \/>\n\tA reliable and supportive team player.<br \/>\n\tBe available to work outside normal working hours\/away from home as deemed necessary (above 60% of time on occasions).<br \/>\n\tMust maintain and provide timely and complete reports of activity as required.<br \/>\n\tMust maintain and share a 6-week schedule with the Sales and Marketing Manager.<br \/>\n\tMust follow Company policies and procedures.<br \/>\n\tLanguage: Fluency in English (Speak, Read, Write) A local language will be beneficial.<\/p>\n<p>Key Performance Measurements for the Role:<\/p>\n<p>Clinical Training &amp; Education<\/p>\n<p>\tDeliver high-quality clinical training on MMS infusion devices to customers in the assigned territory.<br \/>\n\tMinimum 8 training sessions (or as scheduled) per month with post training evaluations.<br \/>\n\tEnsures correct clinical application of devices and supports business growth.<br \/>\n\tImprove clinical competence and confidence of end-users.<br \/>\n\tAchieve attendee average \u2265 4\/5 in training evaluations and \u226580% pass rate on competency assessments.<\/p>\n<p>Installations &amp; Clinical Support<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport installation and clinical adoption of infusion devices.<br \/>\n\tWork within cross-functional coordination and project planning.<br \/>\n\tEnsures customer\u2019s clinical readiness post-installation.<br \/>\n\tLeverage follow-up visits and remote support.<\/p>\n<p>Clinical Expertise &amp; Professional Development<\/p>\n<p>\tStay updated on IV therapy, infusion systems, and relevant guidelines.<br \/>\n\tEnsures credibility as a clinical expert.<br \/>\n\tResponsiveness to Customer Queries<br \/>\n\tAddress clinical queries and support requests promptly.<br \/>\n\tAverage response time &lt;
