An opportunity has become available at our Head Office (Cape Town) within Old Khaki for a Buyers Assistant.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tProvide full time, comprehensive administrative support to buyers in all activities & product categories including fit sessions, range build, meetings, email queries & product briefs
\n\tSample room and sample management which includes
\n\tsample requests & follow up,
\n\tsample preparation for reviews;
\n\tsample handover to online photography & marketing; and
\n\tsample room organization
\n\tTracking & following up on approvals & preproduction sample submission
\n\tUpdate PLM, product lists & reports with correct imagery & information
\n\tManagement of onboarding new suppliers to the system
\n\tAdministration of product codes and raising orders, sending PO\u2019s to suppliers and keeping the PLM up to date with product codes and PO numbers
\n\tLoading product onto PLM following range review and maintaining PLM with relevant amendments
\n\tTake ownership of sample sale preparation and set up prior to date allocated
\n\tReview preparation
\n\tTracking & following up on elements pertaining to product development
\n\tManage the process of samples being photographed for online
\n\tAssist with supplying information for marketing and Visual merchandising briefs
\n\tAssisting with the compiling of store reports
\n\tVisual support e.g. preparing PowerPoint presentations for internal meetings<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\tRelevant tertiary qualification (Advantageous)
\n\tCandidates who have 1-2 years in a similar role will be given preference
\n\tComputer literacy and Microsoft Office Proficiency is a must
\n\tProduct knowledge i.e. knowledge of consumer electronics and related products and trends
\n\tThe ability to multitask & organize is essential to the role<\/p>\n
