\tTo support the Hollard Insure Personal Lines (PL) Pricing team in servicing the various product portfolios through data management and analytics, pricing, product development, portfolio monitoring, and technical assistance.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Reporting and Monitoring<\/p>\n
\tOwn and optimise reporting and monitoring workflows within the end-to-end pricing environment.
\n\tProduce management information reports and dashboards.
\n\tAnalyse trends and provide actionable insights to guide business decisions.
\n\tEnsure timely and accurate product monitoring and reporting.<\/p>\n
Data Management, Quality and Financial Reconciliation<\/p>\n
\tCollaborate with all business partners to ensure data requirements of PL pricing team are met.
\n\tDefine and uphold data quality, lineage, and metadata standards.
\n\tExtracting, cleaning, processing, and reconciling data from various data systems and providing the data in a suitable format for PL actuarial calculations.
\n\tApply forward-thinking and innovative approaches to data challenges, leveraging advanced techniques such as artificial intelligence, large language models (LLMs), and other emerging methodologies to develop effective and scalable solutions.<\/p>\n
Pricing and Product Development<\/p>\n
\tDesign, implement, and oversee tailored, advanced pricing models using a range of statistical approaches tailored to the segment and data availability. Techniques include simple burning cost methods, frequency\u2013severity models, original loss curves, multivariate approaches such as GLMs and machine learning algorithms.
\n\tConduct ongoing review and monitoring of product pricing.
\n\tPerform impact analysis of new rates to support stakeholder decision-making and change management.<\/p>\n
Required Knowledge and Experience\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nRequired Skills and experience<\/p>\n
\t3-6 years\u2019 relevant experience in short-term insurance pricing
\n\tExperience with rating platforms (e.g. Radar, Earnix)
\n\tExperience in one or all of SAS, SQL, Python, PowerBI and MS Fabrics
\n\tExperience building and maintaining data ingestion layers, with a focus on data quality, lineage, and integration of relevant datasets
\n\tTrack record in designing, pricing, and monitoring insurance products, including renewal pricing, experience monitoring, and impact analysis.
\n\tProficiency in generalised linear models, machine learning techniques, and advanced analytics for insurance pricing is advantageous.<\/p>\n
