A leading provider of biological crop protection solutions, including beneficial insects, biopesticides, and pollination products is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Technical Sales Representative to drive sales and technical support in the Limpopo region, focusing on sustainable agriculture for key crops.<\/p>\n
Minimum requirements for the role:<\/p>\n
\tMust have a Degree or Diploma in Agriculture or similar science degree
\n\tMinimum 2 years’ sales experience specifically in agricultural products (experience in agricultural biological products is advantageous)
\n\tMust have a strong practical understanding of summer row crops (grains) plus regional crops including citrus, subtropical fruits, grapes, vegetables, berries, and nuts
\n\tSelf-disciplined, independent worker with a positive team-player attitude and excellent communication skills
\n\tMust have a valid driver\u2019s licence and full willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
\n\tMust be based or willing to be based in the region<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
\tManaging and growing an existing customer portfolio through regular engagement and ongoing support.
\n\tProactively acquiring new business and expanding market share for biological products in the region.
\n\tProviding expert technical advice on integrated pest management (IPM) and tailoring custom product packages to individual customer needs.
\n\tDeveloping and executing a targeted sales plan in collaboration with the Sales Manager and key distributors.
\n\tEfficiently managing daily schedule, customer data, and sales pipeline using CRM tools.
\n\tHandling all client follow-ups, technical queries, administration, and logistics coordination for orders.
\n\tConducting on-farm visits, product demonstrations, and field trials to showcase the performance and application of biological solutions.
\n\tBuilding and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with distributors, growers, and other industry stakeholders.
\n\tMonitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback; reporting performance, forecasts, and opportunities to management.
\n\tParticipating in industry events, trade shows, and training sessions to promote biological solutions and stay at the forefront of crop protection knowledge.
