{"id":35035,"date":"2026-05-01T20:02:18","date_gmt":"2026-05-01T20:02:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/external-sales-representative-2\/"},"modified":"2026-05-15T00:24:48","modified_gmt":"2026-05-15T00:24:48","slug":"external-sales-representative-2","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=35035","title":{"rendered":"External Sales Representative"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Key Performance Areas<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Sales:<\/p>\n<p>\tAchieve set annual sales targets and increase revenue and market share<br \/>\n\tTravel to defined geographies to sell products and services.<br \/>\n\tAchieve the required number customer visits\u00a0 \u00a0<br \/>\n\tBuild and manage relationships between AEC-Amersham and customers and\/or relevant suppliers.<br \/>\n\tProvide training, technical support and after sales service to customers on an ongoing basis.<br \/>\n\tMeet and exceed customer expectations.<br \/>\n\tProvide competitive information such as product specifications, pricing data, or bundling arrangements to establish negotiated pricing contracts for assigned products.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tPerform product demonstrations, installations, and application support.<br \/>\n\tIdentifies the need for new products.<br \/>\n\tIdentify new clients and opportunities within existing business environment<br \/>\n\tPrepare quotations and ensure follow-up.<br \/>\n\tComplete and submit tenders accurately.<br \/>\n\tMonitor sales\/backorders of products<br \/>\n\tIdentify and manage exhibitions and congresses.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Marketing:<\/p>\n<p>\tBe able to conduct research to identify competitors, their product strategies, future requirements of the market, market trends and identify areas of potential sales successes (Competitor Analysis).<br \/>\n\tMust be able to qualify leads and close opportunities.<br \/>\n\tIntroduce and manage marketing strategies for present and future product ranges (under supervision)<br \/>\n\tIdentify and manage exhibitions and congresses with management and support staff<br \/>\n\tIdentify advertising and promotional requirements for AEC-Amersham<br \/>\n\tEnsure availability of marketing and sample material with the assistance of the internal sales support staff<br \/>\n\tProvide input on proposed special offers to Sales Manager to drive sales in a specific area<br \/>\n\tCompile Marketing Plans when new products are launched (under supervision) \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Stakeholder Relations:<\/p>\n<p>\tUpdate suppliers\u2019\/customers\u2019 contact details<br \/>\n\tAssist with sales support to branches.<br \/>\n\tAttend and participate in sales meetings.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that applicable queries are escalated to suppliers when necessary\u00a0<br \/>\n\tBuild on relationships with principals to ensure support channels are present when required.<br \/>\n\tUse initiative to liaise effectively with all stakeholders\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Administrations:<\/p>\n<p>\tPrepare quotations<br \/>\n\tSubmit quotations\/pro-forma invoices within 24 hours of request (under supervision if need be).<br \/>\n\tFollow-up on quotations\/pro-forma invoices.<br \/>\n\tComplete tenders accurately and submit prior to deadlines<br \/>\n\tSubmit reports to Sales Manager<br \/>\n\tHybrid position and must have facility to accommodate this\u00a0<br \/>\n\tProvide sales forecast<br \/>\n\tUpdate SAP Activities post customer visits or important telephone calls.<br \/>\n\tUpdate Outlook Electronic Calendar and Activity reports daily<br \/>\n\tManage conflict\/complaints in an effective and professional manner<br \/>\n\tCreate and share knowledge base with colleagues and customers<br \/>\n\tRelevant problem-solving skills within working environment<br \/>\n\tInput on price list updates\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Compliance:<\/p>\n<p>\tAttend compulsory SHEQ meetings.<br \/>\n\tAdhere to company\u2019s SOPs<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>necsa.mcidirecthire.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/necsa.mcidirecthire.com","_company_name":"NECSA","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"Mandate To develop, utilise and manage nuclear technology for national and regional socio-economic development through: Applied R&D;
