Job Description<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a\u00a0Production Coordinator\u00a0to act as the key communication link between\u00a0Customers, Sales, and Production. This role is critical in ensuring that customer orders are accurately processed, effectively scheduled, clearly communicated, and delivered on time.
\n\tThe successful candidate will be highly service\u2011oriented, organised, and confident in coordinating multiple stakeholders in a fast\u2011paced production environment.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tServe as the primary point of contact between Customers, Sales, and Production regarding customer orders
\n\tReceive, review, and confirm customer orders for accuracy, specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines
\n\tCoordinate production schedules in line with customer requirements and production capacity
\n\tTrack order progress and proactively communicate updates, delays, or changes to customers and internal stakeholders
\n\tLiaise with Sales to clarify customer expectations and provide accurate lead times
\n\tWork closely with Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
\n\tHandle customer queries and complaints professionally and escalate issues where required
\n\tMaintain accurate records and prepare order status and delivery performance reports<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMatric (NQF 4) \u2013\u00a0Essential
\n\tDiploma or Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Production Management, or Business Administration \u2013\u00a0Advantageous
\n\t1\u20133 years\u2019 experience in a production coordination, operations, customer service, or sales support role
\n\tExperience working in a manufacturing, FMCG, or production environment \u2013\u00a0Advantageous<\/p>\n
